We can see the moon and we can see evolution.
I think lots of people misunderstand the term "theory" when used in correlation with science. A scientific theory does not equal your average theory. A scientific theory is something that has been rigorously tested time and time again with the same result and there has never been any reason to doubt it is true. |

i'm in a catholic school and hell even we learn evolution the biology teacher even felt the need to say this "Evolution doesn't mean that we were monkeys yesterday. It doesn't mean that one day monkeys magically turned into people. Evolution is change in a species over time."

But if you have the power to demonstrate macro evolution, how come you have not?

| You see, I guess I'm a rare breed of Christian; I don't argue with you because I don't know enough about the subject itself. That would be stupid. And, while I believe in a deity for some reasons, I still thing evolution could have been involved somehow. It's not impossible. So even though you might think "all" of Christians think this way, please don't. I know, you didn't specify Christians or any religion on here, but just thought I'd add it in since that's the most popular group to criticize it. |

Must... not.... take... the ...BAIT!
UGH!!!
No I'm not going to touch this one, all I'm going to say is that evolution has many many flaws.

And how do you suppose we do that in our limited lifetimes? |

basically it works like this the attributes of all organisms are determined by genes, which can mutate said mutations can have an influence on how the organism behaves or what it looks like and pretty much every other possible aspect if the changes favour the organism in terms of reproduction/not getting eaten/unconditional immortality, they are more likely to be passed on to the next generation changes that have negative effects are less likely to be passed on on account of the organism not getting mates due to having less impressive tail feathers, or having tail feathers that are unreasonably attractive to things that eat birds
so things that dont work vanish, things that do work slowly become more prevalent
