This is an issue that started yesterday afternoon, got fixed with a restore point, broke again, another restore point, fixed, and just broke again.
So here is my issue. Whenever I try to hit "Play" on any Roblox game, it gives me the download prompt, while I have the latest version. Studio still works fine, I just can't join any games via the website. This issue is only on my main computer, my other computers (a lot slower and lower-quality) have no issues though. The only fix I found was restore points, but only last about 6 hours before the issue comes back.
Specs: OS: Windows 8.1 Possessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40 GHz Installed Memory/RAM: 8 GB System Type: 64 bit
Other info: NVIDIA GeForce 2 GB card, 755M, Driver Version 335.23
Browsers: Internet Explorer 11 Google Chrome [Plugin does not load] Roblox Studio [Plugin does not load]
This is pretty much all the info I have that I think I should give, if anyone has ideas for a fix, but need more info, let me know. |

Emailing Roblox is one of the last things I would do for something like this, seeing I have access to the developer forums and having terrible experience with "customer service" in the past.
With the admins away for the weekend and no one on the forums able to get this issue, I posted here to hopefully get more solutions. |

| I'm not a professional on computers, However, I would say it's a security software or something like that causing the problem. Try temporarily uninstalling all the software on your computer once at a time. If that doesn't work I would suggest contacting a Roblox engineer. |

| Well lego you could try running your browser software as admin, this may help as it has happened to me before with other plugins. |

Use Firefox or Opera 6+.
BTW, I am using Firefox 35.0. (Latest version of Firefox)

ROBLOX works for me. I am using Firefox 35.0. Notice IE/Google Chrome/ROBLOX Studio users: Hitting Play will cause you to have the download ROBLOX loop, or the ROBLOX Launcher Plugin being blocked. Since the browsers glitch as they are attempting to do the download ROBLOX loop or the ROBLOX Launcher Plugin being blocked. I have Google Chrome, but I use Firefox because of this bug; you must use the latest version of Firefox because this did not happen to me.

Little update on this: After a little bit of digging, I found that some people had the same issue about 3 months ago, and someone today confirmed the issue returned. I have given them my logs that were relevant, and now I just wait for a response there. |

Check your antivirus, I had an issue really similar to you, I downloaded SilverLight to watch netflix. however netflix dosent recognize that i've downloaded silverlight.

| It's a problem with chrome and internet explorer. I just tried downloading firefox and roblox works fine on here. i got into games perfectly. use firefox until roblox updates again |

That won't fix the issue. There is a good chance you are not having this issue because not everyone has it (I only have it on one of my three computers).

Got the same issue with Roblox studio, I believe it's the Roblox updates that causes these problems. :| Sometimes it works fine after an update, and sometimes the next update ruins it again...
