It opens my mind... Pretty much.
In a very ironic way.

| Personally, RT has influenced me in both positive and negative ways. For one, it kind of did distract me some time last year from my studies, consequently causing my grades to dip a bit. It's also gotten in the way of doing more productive things. But through foruming, I was able to meet a lot of great people and have a broader view on many topics. The varying opinions of RTers intrigue me a lot, and it's always interesting to see how their perception differs from mine. I've read a handful of threads that have led to realizations as well... Realizations that will hopefully help me in the future. Foruming has now become a hobby of mine, and I do enjoy it, especially when the forumers I love seeing post are online. |

I'd say it influenced me in a positive way.
When I first started foruming around 2010, I was extremely reserved and couldn't hold a conversation well lol
but now I've talked to so many people it's like second nature! |

It's also made me more open-minded and less sensitive to harsh things people might be saying about me But I'm not sure if it's done me more good than bad |

in fact, in a way the forums did kinda help I somehow managed to get the courage to admit who I really am and insults don't bother me now. |

despite me saying the ROBLOX forums are a hell hole no one should go to, they've definitely helped me along in life, especially regarding people that think and behave different than those i grew up around, it helped me learn tolerance.
early on it helped me understand the english language better (being homeschooled), and also to be as relaxed and chill as i can regardless of the situation, much to the regret of people around me who aren't used to my chill and think i don't care.
most of this i would already have learnt by simply being on the internet though, but tolerance is one of the traits i attribute mainly to being on the ROBLOX forums. |
