| OP you shouldn't talk about changing the rules if you can't follow them (ahem, this is not related to scripting in any way). |

| I think they need to be revised to match our current standards, then enforced. |

I think it is fair to say that any subsection deserves a biyearly at least rewrite for the forum specific rules, because they change at least that often in active subsections.
--Only post programming related material --Don't attempt to hire scripters to make scripts for you. --Don't post scripting tutorials --Don't ask "how to script", this subsection is for users who are past the basics in scripting. Here are some links to learn:
[ provides links to the wiki and a roblox scripting playlist probably, as well as lualearners or whatever else they can think of ]
--No offsite links with the exception of codepad, twitter or youtube.(PM me for approval request on coding aided websites that make sharing code and collaborating easier.)
--
I stopped using codepad links here mostly once they allowed indents, but you know why not. It's no worse than what people can put on twitter.
That'd be my set of rules, and I would appreciate them being enforced as well.

| Considering you're not supposed to be asking scripting help here, I'm 99% sure that the only time moderators look at this forum is when someone reports a post. |

Anything I miss?
I think anyone who comes here enough and actively contributes knows what the rules should be, because it drives us all crazy. |

I don't know, I think it is fair for users to ask for help here if they aren't like never-scripted-before-straight-out-of-the-factory-plastic-people. Just because Scripting Helpers got removed. It can be stretched to say collaborating and discussion can include helping people who aren't as far along.
And that's what we are suppose to do here isn't it? |

That used to be how the old Scripters forum operated before all of the Script Builder rejects started posting here and SH was removed.
I really don't see why SH was even removed, it was one of the more active forums; much more active than this one was at the time.
I vote to bring SH back from the dead or increase moderation, |

SH was merged with GD, same with BH. I don't see why this subforum was kept and SH removed, but whatever. I am happy to help people here, and Seranok said it is actually complying wiht rules. |

Honestly, the mods neglected to provide moderation to SH for all this time, and yet they decide to remove it.
Figures.

lol we could start a petition and keep it on the front page
i would sign it
and the mods wouldn't see it for a few months but we could keep it as active as this subsection gets |

We don't really need much moderation here. Except for those silly posts, but we just tell those people not to post that.

I do see what they did.
1. They merged the two into a help section because builders was empty. Their idea was to merge these in order to make a specific help forum.
2. They created a seperate thread for people who would like to talk about the arts of programming and collaberate.
3. They didn't expect people to be drrr this is where we learn and recruit scripters because this community has half-minded builders and poor theorists with scripting.
Person299's admin commands was the most hideous thing you could read that was very popular. The only building that is done nicely is people's profile page place (first play that presents themselves).
You also have morticians controlling the funds on roblox these forums. > 10k tix/script > 200 robux for a transparency script (200*16.00tix) |
