48 (divided by) 2 x ( 9 + 3 ) bring arrows in front of 9 + 3, place 12 underneath left to right rule 48 divided by 2 = 24 24 x 2 = 48 i think i did this right |

Actually you're wrong.
"48 ÷ 2(9+3)=" is a popular equation which leads to either 2 or 288 depending on the order of operations.
Some people follow "PEMDAS", others will use the traditional calculator way. |

The answer is either 2, or 288.
There is no definitive answer, because it's an ambigious equation. |

Guys can you not be stupid, I set up this post to get everyone to argue.
but you are just literally being full-blown stupid.
You can search this equation up. There are HUGE debates whether the answer is 2 or 288. |

Here. Order of operations: PEMDAS M and D and A and S are interchangeable, you do whichever one comes first
So 48/2(9+3) P is first, that's parentheses 48/2(12) Then since all it is is multiplication and division you just go from left to right 48/2=24 24X12=288
