| VAC bans are just as good as they need to be. They ban you from valves games and everyone hates you for having that mark on your profile. |

I don't really like VAC sometimes. You get punished for leaving a CS:GO Competitive match, for instance. But what happens if you have a family emergency?

| Communist jailers get out of jail faster than VAC bans. |

Their logic is that if you leave a comp match for an emergency then you wouldn't be playing by the time its lifted
i dont agree with it but thats their reasoning. |

That's not VAC it's just a cooldown VAC is just the anti-cheat program for valve games. |

No, it's to discourage morons for ruining matches for their team by leaving
" false positive vac bans "
VAC scans your PC. The only way of getting a VAC ban is by using KNOWN cheats and your PC getting scanned. |

"Yes, I used a cheat, on one game. Now take my 400$ worth of games, and delete them. This is totally sane and rational and will totally encourage people to use this service."
this is seriously one of the dumbest suggestions I have seen so far |

"If your power went out and you left the match"
That's an MM cooldown, not VAC, and tough luck.
"this is seriously one of the dumbest suggestions I have seen so far"
If you don't hack, you should have nothing to worry about
"This is totally sane and rational and will totally encourage people to use this service."
Yes, it is rational and will encourage people to use it as it discourages hackers. |

| No, it's hilariously draconian disproportionate retribution and serves no purpose that removing the cheater from playing on VAC-secured servers for the game that they cheated on doesn't. |

"draconian"
It's pretty clear that you don't hack. If you don't follow the rules, you deserve everything that happens to you
"disproportionate"
I suppose hackers are alright and we'll just leave them be. |

"it scans for known hacking software or cheat files. "
Except my friend didn't have any hacking files.
He had to clear his PC because he suspected that it was due to a program he had but he had no idea what program he was.
He has been VAC banned 3 times because of this. |

So you obviously missed the entire second half of my post. Again:
This serves no purpose that removing the cheater from playing on VAC-secured servers for the game that they cheated on doesn't. |
