It's been a while since I posted the thread for gravity implementation. Thanks to my earlier thread, and S&I of course, it's reached 150 supports, it's found it's way onto a twitch broadcast, and roblox was messaged (through @Info) about it.
I'm just curious as to see if we can reach 200 supports.
So I'm asking anybody here you would be interested in better manipulation of gravity, to support here, (as long as you haven't supported already)

Why not just sugesst it on Roblox Dev? They most likely don't read S&I. Set HumanoidRootJoint C0 and use BodyForce btw? |

To address the idea more directly here's what the responses would be on RbxDev if I suggessted it: -> Auarus: Sounds interesting -> CodeTheorem: Could Be Useful -> Stravant: It'd require, recoding a major part of the way roblox deals with Parts and possibly break many older scripts, it simply isn't worth the effort. -> Thread closed. |

It wouldn't require that much recoding since it's only a property for Humanoid. Also, I doubt they're that close minded.
Also I don't have access to the RbxDev forums. |

| Humanoids are extremely "limited", it's just how their humanoid system works since they would have to rewrite that basically completely. |

| Also I don't see how it would break any old scripts, since it's default would be pulling down, unless someone has a script which changes GravityPoint (really random) that errors up until now, and now it breaks the game because it don't work properly. |

If they're going to do that they might as well create a better system entirely (The current system isn't all that great..). Which would more than likely break things. Also you need to recode a lot of the gravity system and allow it to be changed locally which is just.. Yeah a lot of work. |

You are right @flatline Humanoid.Health will be renamed Humanoid.CurrentHealth - That was required in changing the gravity.
Gravity would be added to parts and possibly overridden by models. Nothing in the humanoid would be affected. |

| I have no problem with gravity, check out the maze on a geodome planet by ArbiterOfDeath in Labyrinth of Betrayal. The camera works going under a planet and you don't go flying off it. The AI on it are a bit buggy right now and you may walk away from the planet a little when you switch hexagons (hey, walking straight and then changing the way that "down" is doesn't normally happen instantly in physics). |

| One thing I would suggest Roblox fix is when your camera goes upside down or turns along the z axis, the mouse.Hit and mouse.Target are incorrect. ArbiterOfDeath had to manually create his down converter from the screen coordinates to the ray and raycast to get the target. |

| Okay correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't BodyGyro be able to flip the character the way he is talking about. You would have to combine it with a BodyVelocity of course. |
