What's the essay on?
Myself, I'm procrastinating memorizing a sonnet. I think I'll choose Shakespeare's 116th sonnet. I've also got a lot of Senior project stuff I need to do. Honestly, I thought designing a unit on Theoretical Physics would be easier. Nope. Surprisingly few resources out there. |

| Hm, as much as I've tried, I've never been able to enjoy Shakespearean sonnets. Do you enjoy them, or is this strictly a school-related project? |

Haha, I was going to start working on my summary/reaction papers for Democratic Citizenship (about 4-6 pages total) around 6 hours ago.
And I did this last time too. And the time before that. And the time before that too.
...I should be working on it or going to bed right now tbh. |

" Shakespearean sonnets. Do you enjoy them, or is this strictly a school-related project?"
I enjoyed them, but I would never take the time out of my day to read them.
This is the first time I have heard anyone talk about them since I graduated. |

@Mousekin, Not particularly. I love many of Shakespeare's other works, however not so much sonnets. This is definitely school related. I've known about it for weeks and just now decided to do it. Presenting tomorrow, and I have the utmost faith in my memorization abilities.
@Robust, What, specifically, is your paper on? |

| @Awkrin, I love reading poetry. Sonnets aren't very distant to poems, however I have never been a fan of the Elizabethan English that Shakespeare's sonnets are written in. The language ruins the message for me. |

1) Some letter Jefferson sent to Madison
2) Mercy Otis Warren
3) Dissent of the Pennsylvania Minority
I have to choose 2 of those topics. Each one requires a 1-2 page summary and a 1/2 to 1 page reaction paper. I guess if I do the bare minimum I can get 3 total pages but uh...
I tried doing the bare minimum last time. I ended up at 6 pages after condensing it. I am a horrible procrastinator and an obsessed perfectionist. My HS teachers tend not to like that, given that I ignore them in favor of working on papers last minute. |

It is easy to understand though.
Well at least for me.
I enjoy ballads, and crap.
Poems don't have to rhyme to be great. |

Ah yes, I know that method of work well. I have consistently waited until the last moment to start work on every assignment ever give to me. For most this would be a problem, but I get them in on time and generally get A's for my efforts. Though, I do suppose my sleep on those nights greatly suffers.
Oh, no, there is one assignment that I did early. For AP Goverment we were given a textbook to outline for the year. A chapter or so every week until April. Well, I took a 24 hour period and just did every single one. I outlined the 864 page textbook in one day assuring that I wouldn't ever have to procrastinate chapter outlines. So worth it, although my eyes and my hand would disagree. I couldn't move my hand to write with the following day, and it was in serious pain. |

| @Awkrin, I never said that they did. Elizabethan English really isn't too difficult to understand, however it does require some thought on my part. That thought takes away from my flow while reading it making the entire experience more catchy then I prefer. |

Whatever "procrastination" essay you're working on OP, I'm assuming you're working your arse off on it according to how intimidating that assignment sounds.
Good luck mate.
