I divided this into 4 parts:
- Help build this game
- Explaining story (an introduction to the game)
- Info (practical information about how the game will be played)
- Development so far

------------------------Help build this game------------------------
To help me build this game is very simple.
Just reply to this topic and tell me what you think about the concept.
If you got something you really don't want to miss in a game like this, let me know.
Criticize if needed.

-------------------------Explaining story-------------------------
Medieval Bloxcraft is a game like many browser games, now available through Roblox.

At the start of the game you will receive a territory and some starting resources.
Unfortunately, your territory is empty but luckely it is surrounded by resources that will help you build it.
The first thing to do is to make sure you have a first woodcutter's hut working.
This will of course cost wood to make, which you can take from the resources you receives from the start.
Now you woodcutter's hut will help you getting more wood, which can be used to build more buildings.
After a few seconds you will have enough materials to build yourself a brick oven. This building costs wood and bricks, the wood you just gathered and the bricks from the start.
These two materials will allow you to build a nice city.

Wait?!? Do I see another player building a territory nearby?
He also has resources, I will try to take those, that is much faster than working.
I might need an army for that.
You must build a farm to get yourself food, this food will allow peasants to fight for you.
But peasants... they ain't very strong and not trained at all.
Maybe if we get some wood we can buy ourselves an archer or we could build an iron mine so we can get ourselves a swordman, pikemen.
With some gold we can get ourselves a knight or even a hero.

This army can now march towards the other territory.
If the attack was succesfull your army will return with the materials they can carry.
Maybe some or all may have died, these men and their carrying capacities are gone.

Now you got too many food, maybe you could check another nearby village if he might want to buy some.
You can sell it to Lord Compy, he will give you gold in return for the materials.
Or you could trade it to a nearby village for other materials or gold.

--------------------------------Info--------------------------------
When you read the introduction you see that this is a game about time.
That's why I am working on a system where you will keep gaining resources when you are offline, untill you stockpiles are full.
When you are online you will be in a server with multiple players. These are the villages you are currently able to trade with or attack. But for your real enemies you can choose to save a village into your enemy list, making you able to attack whenever you want.
An attack will take time to arrive, you can set an attack to a player and that will save a time. When the time is finished you will gain your materials and your remaining soldiers will be available once again. When you log out before the time ends, you will get the reward the next time you log in.

The village is watching from above, this gives you a nice overview of the buildings.
The resources will be shown on top of the screen.
At the left you have a button to build things.
This will give you a list of all available buildings and what they cost.
To make the game progressive your next of the same building costs more than the last.
Making your first woodcutter's hut cost like 20 wood and your 10th woodcutter's hut cost 50000 wood.
The territory is big enough to place 100 buildings inside of it.

The trade system is also important, Lord Compy will be an NPC which you cannot attack or trade with.
This NPC has an infinite stock of gold. You can trade any material with him for gold. If there is much gold in the game another player might pay more for the resources, but if there is not enough gold in the game, it will be cheaper to get it from Lord Compy.

This gold can then be used to buy special troops which are limited to prevent overpowered armies.
Later this gold will have much more purposes, especially resource boosts.

I will also offer players to buy an amount of gold for robux with a 24 hour cooldown and buy resource boosts for limited times.

------------------------Development so far--------------------------
Currently this game is not yet available since all these functions take a lot of time to make.
Here I will list what I have ready so far:
- Buildings: Barracks, Brick Oven, Farm, Iron Mine, Stockpile, Woodcutter's Hut
- Camera tool, making you look from above and able to move over the village.
- GUI showing all resources
- GUI showing all buildings

I am currently working on the placement of buildings, I hope to get this finished tomorrow.
