Hi guys, TarHeels, the worst Huskies HC ever. Today I will be exploring the OFL in search of some of the best veteran and up-and-coming WRs in the league. There are quite a few, if I miss any, yell and rage at me in a comment like any other 12 year old would do.
There are a few categories of WRs: -Deep Receivers -Short Receivers -"I can do it all" Receivers -Bad -Worse -Dirt -Season 1 nasir773
Deep Receivers (remember, these are just a few of the best):
These guys are kind of like the swagboys in legends that always say "deep me" but they're actually decent at catching. It is very easy to be a good deep receiver, but extremely hard to be a great one.
1. XavierPWN (especially s1 and 2) This man is still, in my opinion, one of the best to ever play in the league. It's disappointing how little he has done since the first two season however. But go up against him, and you're not coming down with the ball. He has proven this in quite a few highlights, some of the best shown in Season 3 Week 1. His ability to break coverage and catch anything near him was unparalleled in the early days, but now there are some WRs passing his ability, as he has gone quite inactive over the past few seasons.
2. GalaxySupernova Bung scans the field, he sees his WRs all over the fie- wait... Galaxy is in the endzone again... Sometimes I wonder how he gets there so fast, but either way he does very well at it. Again, going up for a jump ball on him, most of the time he'll come down with it. He has some improvement to make, but overall he is quite a powerhouse at 50+ yards. Maybe that's what Matthew taught him...
3. FractaPretium "OMG BIAS AF" no shut up. Fracta has established himself as a great WR in his short 3 seasons in the league, tying McPattyIII in his first season for most TD receptions in a season with 17. Before you throw the "he was the only duck's target" around, remember that McPatty was Colin's only target S3 as well. And being the target receiver is a tough battle. You are always expected to come down with the ball, and for the most part, that what Fracta does. He goes out and accomplishes what he needs to do, and recently, he'll get a few more yards after a 60 yard catch too.
4. Patriots0117 (McPattyIII) Arguably one of the most ignorant people to have to ref, but still a great WR through and through. Always had Colin an open bomb deep, it was tough to lock him down. With the emergence of zone, he lost some of his firepower, but quickly regained it in Season 4. Overall, great receiver, and a force to be reckoned with.
5. WRBEASTHD Toss it up, he's got it. No questions asked. His only flaw is that that is the only route he wants to run. He isn't a smart WR like some of the other deep WRs, which makes him just not quite as good as they are. But still, his raw catching abilty is insane.
Short WRs:
These guys will be open for a 5 yard slant, and you'll think "meh, first down maybe." Or y'know, 40-50 yards. Whatever.
1. PDietz Just recently has he become a force at WR, and good lord will his legs create some yards. When I was able to QB on the rams for a bit, he's always there, open for a 10-15 yard pass, which he made into a 35 yard gain constantly. Solid, consistent short WR, and it's actually tough to come across those anymore.
2. NATE7201 I was so annoyed at punishers when I played with nate, because he was so good, but soooo annoying. However, just looking at the most recent highlights when the punishers played the warriors, you can watch him turn a simple screen into a touchdown with a couple moves. His legs are some of the best I've seen a WR have, and he does very well to keep the ball moving.
3. eppy69 There are only a few great short WRs, and I think eppy rounds off this list quite nicely. Great player, can go deep when he needs to, but will almost always be right on that FD marker ready to make a play when he gets the pass. He keeps the chains moving whenever the ball is thrown his way.
"I can do it all" Receivers:
These guys can go deep or short effectively (but not quite as effectively as a deep or short receiver, necessarily), and there are quite a few in the league, so this is going to be a list, no player descriptions here. (In no particular order)
1. Zignatious 2. Eddy3D 3. Sweggbertz 4. BaconFever 5. joseph590 6. KameoOkelani 7. Raider95Nation 8. LarryFitzgerald/VVikipedia 9. supreme 10. NightTrainn 11. plantshadow 12. Vuoxz 13. Mercybox 14. look01 15. BabatronXXI 16. metalblaster 17. Relaunched 18. TheWideReceiver 19. Vishanti 20. MustDestroy3 21. FEARDataHolder 22. SLIPDOG 23. TheSliceOfLife And more maybe. IDK
Who did I miss? Tell me below! Also, answer today's question, who is the most overrated WR in the league? Thanks for reading! |

| In my opinion, I would be around 15. Plus, try to get WR's from a bigger variety of teams. |
