First there was cavemen but what would the cavemen era of lua code be? what would be the most pointless line of lua code ever? like i mean a workable line of lua code that has no point to it at all. i understand there's Print "Hello World!" -- but that has a point to it aka printing Hello World and only using while true do is something i like to do to crash my game. :D it's a really dumb question if u look at it and think about it but what would the answer be? T_T |

@above, wait() has a use and ~= means is not, == means is, without ~ we would be confuzzeled. ~ has a use.
if script.Parent.script.Parent.script.Parent ~= nil then end

All of your infinite loops can actually be used to freeze Roblox, and thus they have a purpose. Those aren't pointless. Comments have a point, or we wouldn't use them. So comments are not pointless either. Blank comments are sometimes used as dividers, so blank comments have a purpose too.
setfenv(1,getfenv(1)) is the most pointless line that I can think of. It does pretty much nothing. It doesn't change the way it works like an infinite loop would, and it isn't to make it easier to read like a comment is.
There is of course the do end and if false then end but I don't think those are creative enough. |
