Only because most of the jobs created are part time, minimum wage jobs with few to no benefits.
In a nutshell, jobs that won't get people very far. |

| Won't change anything. If employers have to increase wages and benefits, you will see many people laid off, especially with small businesses. |

"companies" is the keyword Large companies like McDonald's can handle it, but small businesses cannot. |

the majority of workers getting payed minimum wage are employed by large companies that can both afford to pay more and will gain money from it
as for small businesses, youre right in saying that they can suffer loses
but shouldnt the needs of the majority outweigh the needs of the few |

"the majority of workers getting payed minimum wage are employed by large companies that can both afford to pay more and will gain money from it"
This is why minimum wage hikes should only apply to big companies, the minimum wage for small businesses should stay around $7.50
"as for small businesses, youre right in saying that they can suffer loses"
Not can, WILL. Things like the ACA have devestated small businesses.
"but shouldnt the needs of the majority outweigh the needs of the few"
But when the few don't exist/can't hire the majority, the majority loses. |
