In case anyone doesn't notice, OP is attempting to brag about how he is smart enough to do calculus and enjoy it, when in reality, is probably a 4th grader who goes to school and whines about fractions all day.

Omg, I feel the same way. Calculus problems are just so amazing. Especially because most teachers don't care much about showing ALL the work. It's a field of math based most around exercising the brain. Plus, there is more variety in it. It's far easier to find a variety of different problems for one topic, whereas other fields are usually just the same thing but with different numbers.
There is a lot more creativity in it too, unlike basic Algebra. In Calculus, a problem can be solved a large number of ways. In Algebra, there is usually just one direct method, unless somebody is going through redundant steps, i.e. re-writing 5x=20 to 20=5x.
Calculus ftw <3 |

"re-writing 5x=20 to 20=5x." Why would anybody change it from x = _ to _ = x, are you drunk?

the variable doesn't have to be on the left side all the time sometimes it just ends up on the right and i despise any middle school teacher who teaches that the variables has to be on the left side

| No way! It just means you love school and learning and math, which is a very good thing! I respect you, bro. You are good at the stuff that scares me to death: MATH. |

also in response to algebra only having one direct method if you've ever done systems of equations you should know better

nope, more power to ya. I think math is relaxing, but only if I actually know how to do it
if I don't then it's obviously just stressful and I get an urge to rip my hair out |

also dogekip my dad has told me that calculus isn't really that hard as long as you have your basics of algebra and stuff like that down considering my dad taught calc and pre calc as well as algebra and geometry i'll take his word over yours

Same here I understand most math though, except stuff like calculus since I'm a freshman. Also I won't be taking geometry it's just Algebra I then straight to Algebra II now I might end up in Algebra II and Trig but idk

If it makes you happy
I research some of the most random things on the Internet when I'm bored. Stuff in space, bizarre conspiracy theories, weird Wikipedia articles (did you know wikipedia has a portal for unusual articles? Very convenient...), languages and writing systems, micronations, weird diseases and mental illnesses, etc.
Respect the science! |

| Mmhm! Once you understand basic calculus rules, learning new methodologies for solving problems is fairly simple. Some people just have trouble with it because of the algebraic rules and trigonometric identities, as you said. |
