You may have those moments that a game you liked alot doesn't get played anymore. The developer doesn't get a tix income because nobody plays it.
So what if, you can advertise someone else's game? |

| Also, if an owner got banned he can't advertise his game anymore. So this feature can fix that. |

Actually not a bad idea, but it should send a message to the owner saying "So-and-so has purchased ad space for your place for ____ tix.
And their should also be an option in the game; "Allow User-advertising" or something like that. And all games have it set to true already, just in-case the games' owner was terminated and can't set it to true.
It should also have an option for "minimum" and "maximum" spent, so people don't spend like 10 tix on an ad only to get a few clicks, or 100'000 tix on an ad when it is terrible. |

| It doesn't have to downgrade the owner if people know it's not only the owner using ads |

No support.
Not everyone would advertise other people's games appropriately with some users using the adverts to tarnish the image of the game and the developer. The advert system should remain how it is and if you want an "oldie" to become popular again, try getting your friends to band together with you (and pull other users in). |

Games can not be trashed with ads.
people make their own ads saying as so
" This game sucks i would never play it again "
They would do more good then harm.

@Swiift, Believe it or not, adverts do make or break games. The same can be seen in real life scenarios on a daily basis.
If a user wishes to call their game "trash" or "suckish" then that's their decision, but I know that the majority of people wouldn't click on an advert like that. But it's not really that which is an issue, but rather the inevitability that users would run stolen/copied, low quality or fake adverts. All of which would be damaging to the developer, as well as the style that a developer is attempting to uphold.

| @DataStore Okay, i get your point. So what if the developer had the OPTION on who can advertise the game? |

@Swiift, Then it's their funeral, so to speak. But even if it were an optional thing, you'd still have the issue of users "abusing" the system if it were enabled by a developer. You could argue that ROBLOX would require the developer to approve each advert, but if the game is popular the developer would likely be swarmed by low quality adverts.
If a developer wishes to advertise something and doesn't have the required money, they could get players to donate directly to them (or better monetise their game). Whilst they'd lose 30% (I think that's the current tax for BC?), it would still give them money to run adverts. If a user would be willing to run an advert for a couple thousand tickets, then they'd be willing to donate to that user.
However, that being said, one way that this could work is if each game had an advert inventory where the developer can upload adverts and have other users bid on them directly. Less time consuming for the developer, removes the issues with allowing users to submit their own adverts and prevents developers from lining their pockets from donations (for adverts). |

| Data's right, I wouldn't want to allow users to advertise my game, only to have the advertisement trash my game. |

| Support, but the owner can see the ad and be able to accept/decline it before it runs. |
