I just came up with this idea now. And along the way, maybe you can decide whether your creators are good, or bad, and ultimately triumph over your enemies along with regular evolutions of your ability.
I got this because I envisioned a scene of a man scaling a building, and at the top of the building is a man with his back turned and harsh gusts of winds blowing at all sides. I dunno why, I just like that scene.
So, would anyone be interested in this? |

This is a sound idea. Using this idea and giving the player some control over the intent of their creators is a really good idea.
You could also get a lot of traction out of more open ended player driven threads if you got a relatively good group of RPers.
Things to consider: Do the player character's creators have a way of ensuring their loyalty? If so, what is it? Can it be foiled? Do they have kill switch for the player character in case they go rogue? Why were they created? How much do you want to lie to the players about the intent of their organization? Perhaps the character thinks they're the goodguys and in truth it's just an guise to ensure loyalty and compliance.
God I feel old whenever I drop back in to see what is going on. |

| Honestly, Kerion, I was thinking of a robocop Directive 4 type of thing for their loyalty. I haven't really thought out the concept yet. |

| I wasn't stealing your ideas... I came up with this literally less than half an hour ago while I was daydreaming off into ideas for books. |

That's a fair idea. A solid classic that works rather well.
Other possiblities you might want to consider: 1. some kind of kill switch (more for the less savory corps), such as something to disrupt their nervous system (keep signals from leaving their neck) or something as simple as an implanted bomb 2. A thorough web of deception. Have them convinced they're working for the goodguys, arrange for things to look like the target is trying to convert them to the figurative "dark side" when they try to say the player is working for the badguys 3. medication. Maybe the players needs a regular supply of some medication to keep their gene mods from degenerating.
Another thing to take into account: at what point in their life were these people genetically altered? 1. Their genes were hand selected and altered even before they were conceived 2. post conception 3. while still an infant 4. while a very small child 5. while an older child 6. in their teens 7. in their adult life 8. continuously throughout their life 9. at multiple stages
And one last thing: how about cybernetics? they can make an interesting complement to genetic modification. |

It should be based off of you, Swede.
You have the power of licking Timpookie's ugly drippings. And it would have the power of your critically acclaimed RP: Chaotic Disturbance!

Well I'd piratepad RP with you more if I wasn't constantly sick, constantly helping people with collabs, constantly suffering from bouts of writers block, and also trying to constantly write a novel before the idea passes my mind
tldr
im busy a lot |

Would it be like Syndicate, with mercenaries working for corporations and things like that? If so, I'm in.
