| Because I did not do semester project. I should have done it when I had the time. Now I won't get English highest mark award when I graduate. This makes me so sad. |

Universxl, the project was assigned beginning of September. I didn't come on OT until December I think.

No, I live in Turkey. The English class I took is second language class. My mark was 95% now it drops 85% because I did not do this stupid project. |

oh
does english sound cool from a non-native speaker's point of view
i heard it once without understanding the words which was really hard to do i kinda had to tune out a little
it sounded like chunks were french and then it'd flow into german and go back and forth like that except without all the throat sounds of french and german aka really really beautiful and pretty |

It depends on that person's language. To Turkish speakers, not generally. What's even worse is, when English speaker learns Turkish and tries to speak it. American accent in Turkish is just hilarious.

Feel free to ask me. |

| Wow, if I didn't do a project in my English class I would probably get like a 50, we barely have any assignments so not doing one basically guarantees failure of the quarter. |

« do you listen to english songs? »
Some pop songs yes.

How much are all assignments weighed by total? My project was worth 10% of grade, and I got 0% on it, so I lost 10%. I'll say you had 80% in class, if your mark dropped to 50% that means the entire assignment it alone weighs 30%. This is how much your final exam is usually weighing. This is such ridiculous weighting. I don't understand. |

| Assignments aren't weighted individually. They're lumped into two categories, summative and formative which are worth 45 and 55%, respectively. Tests, journals, and projects are summative and everything else is formative. |

OK, but what I mean is, if all of your assignments together they are weighed 30%, then if you had 20 assignments, each assignment is weighed 1.5% of your mark, yes? Assuming all assignments are weighed equally. |

| It is mandatory to learn second language in elementary school, but, when you are in high school, you can drop your English class. I am not sure with countries around me. |
