10^logx + 10^log(x+1) = 10^log2
x + (x+1) = 2 2x + 1 = 2 2x = 1 x = 1/2
Does the 10 thing ring any bells? Im pretty sure thats how u do it |

| @shrekt im in 10th, somehow I got into Alg.2 honers and geo2 honers even tho i failed Alg.1 and only got a 3 (C) on the EOC |

If u dont understand the first step,
logx is actually log base 10(subscript 10) x
And so adding the 10 and putting the rest in the exponent, it cancels out the log
You would then be left with the x + x + 1 = 2 |

i wanna learn how to do this, but im stuck in silly pre algebra for my 8th grade year. i have the scores, grades, and everything for alg 1 so i'll have to wait an extra year for alg 2 qq |

| try it on your calculator, plug .5 (on half) in for x and see how it works out |
