alright so i have eight classes add up all the grades, divide it by 8 (or the amount of classes you have) and you have your average grade |

@ariff, it usually depends on which state you live in.
in my state, we grade everything on a seven point scale: A - 100-93 B - 92-85 C - 84-77 and so on
and to advance into the next grade, you need to pass either math or english and have a 75+ avg.
