Hello my fellow Americans.

With our administration elected, many Senators had to resign from their positions to join their new position within the executive branch. We now have 7 vacancies to fill in the Senate, which is why you are all reading this.

Instead of selecting friends, I decided to give everyone a chance to be appointed as a Senator. The process will be relatively easy; you paste in a speech you wrote into this thread, and it will be revised by me and other Senators. Afterwards, the 7 best candidates will be selected to proceed with the Senate confirmation, which requires the Senate to meet a quorum of 5, which has been hard to do recently with the lack of Senators.

All candidates with a heavy criminal past, who are not serious in their duties, or candidates that have formally been removed from a congressional position are disqualified from this process.

You have 24 hours to submit your speech.

Note that I have the right to disqualify any candidates from the process for the fact that I am supposed to be selecting them.

Good luck to you all,

Impress me,

Lumidas, Vice President of the United States of America [President of the Senate].

Dear fellow citizens of America,

America, the land of the free, the brave, and the land of opportunity ... but in reality, not so free. Now is the time for a new beginning.

I'm willing to listen to the people and help advance towards a better America. I'll be honest though, the promises I'm making aren't going to be easy to obtain or fulfil. They're going to need the help of everyone in USA, not just myself. I doubt corruption can be stopped fully, but if everyone devotes some time and effort towards putting an end towards it, there will be a great impact. These promises may not seem realistic now, but if America can work together, we can fix this country.

Unlike other Congress members, I will strive towards making America a better place instead of being inactive and honestly not giving a damn. I will be pushed back along the way, but listen to me now. I will not give up and I'm sure to get there eventually.

Speech:

I am back for another term as senate and this time I will make a differance to thoese that need it. As a senate I would change the States in many benefitial ways such as giving people more jobs and being a par of some career changing votes. NUSA will be filled of happy employed people because of just one vote! This will be my 5th term as a senate so you can count on me to make the right decisions!

I know that political campaigns can sometimes seem small, even silly. And that provides plenty of fodder for the cynics who tell us that politics is nothing more than a contest of egos or the domain of special interests. But if you ever get the chance to talk to folks who turned out at our rallies and crowded along a rope line in a high school gym or -- or saw folks working late at a campaign office in some tiny county far away from home, you'll discover something else.

I'm the kind of man that keeps promises when I make them. I strive for people to look up to me. I do my best to keep the people happy, it's my life duty. I swear that if I get a chance to have a Senator position I will do my best. I will strive to accomplish any task set in front of me. Thank you for taking your time to review this.

This is my speech to be chosen for the Senate, I hope you enjoy.

My name is Wastfulajr. I have been with Night’s USA for quite some time now, approximately 7 months. I have seen the ups and the downs of this large nation, and have seen one or two Presidents. Unfortunately, I have seen the bad mixed in with the good, and want to change that. A few of the major problems of this nation is that in our military, which I am a General in has many problems. Our bases are unorganized, and sometimes the branches fall deep in to inactivity. I have also seen abuse in agencies. All of this I wish to stop, and if I am chosen for Senate I will. One of the main things I will go for if I am chosen for Senate is to try and share the wealth among the people of this great nation. I want to start more businesses, and give the Dept. of Commerce something to begin with. I will try to get businesses approved by the DoC teams and stores in DC so we can have a use for the monetary system. I am a long standing person in the USA that has held many jobs over the course of time and hope to hold this one to keep the nation moving forward. Finally, I hope to fix the immaturity and inactiveness of Congress. I want to be a loyal and active Senator that actually cares about what the people have to say.

My fellow friends, citizens, senators and colleagues,

America is a country of freedom, where you have the freedom over your actions (unless it's a criminal action). Your choices make up this country, and your choices are great.

I am here to announce my candidacy for Senator. I have been a congressman before, a house member for two terms. Within these terms I was able to put forward suggestions to help improve our beautiful and safe nation. These suggestions were from the people - I was representing the people, and I still do so to this day.

If I am selected as a senator, I will continue to represent the people by suggesting my ideas and putting your ideas forward. I will approve users of jobs only if they are active, experienced and have the potential to do well, not just because I like them because I am not a bias person.

If you choose me, I promise I will not let you down, as I haven't let you down during the two terms I spent as a house member.

Hello fellow Americans, and President of the Senate, Lumidas,

With my expertise in politics, I will make sure that our Senate is indeed active. I will vote on bills on what the people want. We get elected to represent our country, our citizens, not just on the basis of what we want. Let's leave the political parties lines behind, and make bi-partisan bills.

I will listen to my constituents, as they are more important. I will strive to pass bills that are not out in the ordinary, and that will serve a purpose. As my experience in the Executive Branch, it is my time to move on, and try to serve the Legislative Branch.

If a Republican sponsors a bill, and it's really great, I will be willing to co-sponsor that bill, as making bi-partisan bills is what draws the line of the political arena!

Let's stop the grid lock in Washington, and smooth out Congress. With me becoming a Senator, I think it will benefit for us citizens, not generally yourself.

Thank you,
NASCAR692

My speech is REALLY LONG
http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=154495599
That is the link, but I will post the whole thing.
Timothy1219 for Senate

Party : Republican

Motto: "For the people, by the people."
Table of context
1. Introduction about myself.
2. My campaign.

1.Introduction
I am a past HoR, I quit, because of some private reasons, they are not bad. I am honest, I am kind, I also think everyone should have a fair say in Congress. I am a republican. I have many ways to make Congress better, but I will not bore you with them. I love to have suggestions for bills, or anything you would like to talk about, I will always reply. I am running again so I can have time to help people, helping people is a great thing to do, and it helps a lot. You might have not heard of me for a long time, I quit the USA for one month after some difficulties, but I have came back and I am trying this again, because I loved being a HoR. I read all of my bills, and I will try to present them in congress. People put the Less Corruption, because people think that they can make it go away, but that is not true, the corruption comes from the people's actions that make the corruption possible.

2. Campaign
I. Jobs

II. Better Cities

IV. Less gun crime

1. Jobs

I my self personally would like people to have more jobs and less Unemployment. I see the post on the wall like I want a job. I think it is unfair that the tryouts are to hard, I say that we should have a lot more interviews and less tryouts, because people are always being banned because they fall of the pole or they miss a wall. It is plain unfair I totally get you people who do that out there. That is also myself! For the jobs we will try to make more of them to help the people have a higher chance of getting into a department or agency.

2. Better Cities

I thought to actually get people who have jobs in Washington D.C. money because when you play as a job in Washington you get $0 and we think that is unfair. I can add some more building in D.C. or Las Vegas but we need your suggestions for this one, I will not know what to build, so I need peoples ideas. The cars in Las Vegas should be at least a little bit slower because of all the car crashes! We should also open up new stores so you can get things. Like we said we need you to help us decide what we are going to do the the cities!

3. Less Gun Crime
I will try to lower the gun crime rate by adding a gun license. If you can get a gun license in D.C. with in game money then it would help the people not get shot often.Earlier today I spawned in and I was shot to death three times because of a visitor who had a gun shooting everyone.I totally go for this plan because if we do we can lower the rate of the people dyeing at the spawn. Lets say if we did not do this the gun crime might shoot up and might be able to kill important people! This might not seem logical, but it can work.

Dear Fellow Americans,

I come before you today to make a change. I come to represent you in congress and get you YOUR say. There will be changes comming up. So I know that some of your are not happy with the new administration. I am working for YOU and not me.

PLANS:||
So I have many plans for the upcoming months. So I know many of us recently lost our jobs. Well... I am here to get them back. I will fight for my fellow Americans jobs that were takin right from under their feet. We can't have this. This leaves many citizens unemployed. I personally lost one of my jobs. This is just scratching the surface of what changes I am trying to get back.

QUALIFICATIONS:||

What qualifies me is my length in USA and the amount of jobs I have. I have been in USA for near 2 years. There were 100 people when I joined. I hold many jobs right now in USA. I will list them:

Secret Service||AIT
United States Marshals Service||Unit Commander
DSCA||Head Of Opperations
BOP||Officer In Charge

Thank you,

Hello Fellow Senators, I am currently writing a speech to fill in a vacancy spot for the Senate. I am very active and I can fulfill the duties of being a Senator. I can make it to almost every Congressional Session that is hosted. I am very mature and I have been in this US for quite a while. I have worked for the U.s Congress before. I will put full effort and full dedication into this legislative job. I will hear the peoples voice (as most Speeches say they will do it and they do not do it, I will hear America's voice.) My vote isn't only based off of me but it is based off of the people and what I think is right for the people of America. I will communicate with other Senator's gathering ideas. Everything I have said in the resume will be done. And America, I can not remove corruption, but I can help us get closer to abolishing it. Thank You Senators, Thank You America, God Bless.

My Fellow Americans,

My name is Elite39clues and I wish to be a Senator. I want to help the people of the United States of America by making your opinions noticed. The United States of America is a family and I want to help the family as much as possible. I have plenty of experience including being a federal prosecutor and previously being in the army (Currently Re-enlisting) and I was previously an MI6 agent for the United Kingdom. I have real life military experience which gives me discipline and respect for my superiors and my comrades. I plan to learn from those above me and teach those below me. I want to assist you as much as possible. I plan to make it so the people voices are heard. Thank you for reading. Best of luck to my opponents!

Respectfully,

Hello everyone, my name is hurtruler. Some of you may have heard of me, some may have not. Some may remember me as a House of Representatives, others may remember me as a criminal bent on murder. Yes, I will admit that I was a criminal, and with a record of 210+ arrests, (which I would be happy to clear, if I had the Robux.) But I'm not going to be your generic candidate, who promises to stop "corruption", rather, I'm the type of guy who can relate to you, who knows what it's like to be a Middle Class Citizen. Your idea is my action, your passion is my driving force. I always leave my messages open, and I'm always open for a chat. I'm a regular guy like you all, no jobs, no rank, little fame, but I want cooperation, for a better tomorrow for many, not only the powerful, but for all other people.

Thank you,
hurtruler

Speech:

Greetings citizen,

I'm jakubkuba currently a Federal Prosecutor and Chairman of the Technocratic National Party. I know I was probably never come across to you. But I'm a sufficient employee and a good American to change America for better. I made myself conducted over the couple past of weeks from get arrested by abusers that I will not name out. Changing America for better it's like a Train Simulation when you don't know how much passengers your going to get on the next Station or are you on time or not. Making myself unpredictable on how to stand towards my faces between cons and pros I always wanted to make America as the right where abusers will be cut down. We will not get rid of Agency's and increase the unemployment in the country. I also want to do my best to make the Technocratic National Party official. But remember money and power isn't all that's in life

Fellow people of America,

I have come to this thread hoping to be one of your new Senates. I believe that I can sign the right bills. Make new bills that are going to help America for the better. This is one of my chances to show that to America that I can help the USA in a positive matter. I believe that I have what It takes and I have loads of experience in the USA

Some of the things I'm currently in: DoJ HR, IAB Assistant Director, NSA, FBI, IC. This is just the things I'm in at this time. I hope to be the new Senate for America.

Speech: Hello, fellow citizens of the United States. I am speaking to you right now because I have one vision in mind. A better America. Most senators suck. Yes, that might sound stupid, but it's true. They are helping the rest of the goverment corrupt us. I can help change that. I can't run a whole senate by myself, but with the help of you guys and your opinions, I can attempt to do great things for myself. For us. For YOU. Any promise I make, i'm keeping it. No, i'm not a president, but I can still do big things. You can too, by supporting me, and electing me to the U.S. Senate. Live your life. Go for your dreams. That's what i'm doing right now. Thanks, and have a great day.
