@Purring, actually no, they MUST stay in the incubator until they dry completely. None of them have actually hatched yet, BUT they have poked little air holes. After poking holes they will rest for a few hours.
This is not my first time hatching eggs, but it is my first time hatching anything as small and delicate as quail.
BUT I AM SO EXCITED EEEEEEEEEEEEE, LIKE 8 OR 9 OF THEM ARE MOVING.
And when I go in there and whistle the eggs wiggle like little jumping beans. |

@Purring, one of us, one of us, one of us, one of us
@Sound, I will be eating the eggs, not the quail themselves.
They have better overall quail feed to egg production ratio than chickens, so I wanted to try em out.
I also have chickens, which are awesome as well. |

And what is wrong with the nutrition facts for eating quail eggs? |

AFTER I HAD SAID I WAS LEAVING I WENT TO CHECK ON THEM, IT WAS JUST SITTING THERE PEEPING!!
It is YELLOW! So it will be a white quail when it is an adult, I think it is a Texas A&M. |

@Sound, you do realize how SMALL quail grow to be, yes? :o
They will be smaller than my smallest bantam hen, Little (Mama) Red, who will be their foster mama.
