Alright, so at school today, I heard modern pop music for the first time in about three or four years. Some kids were having their birthday, and so there was a party during lunchtime. For some inexplicable reason that I am unaware of, having a party automatically means that one must supply music. So there was "music".
The "singers" were shouting unintelligible phrases between loud beats of an overly simplistic instrumental that I could have played when I was ten (And I'm no musical prodigy). The people's voices had a near-mechanical method of changing pitch mid-word for the words near the end of a stanza and/or line that are dragged out for an additionally long time.
It was so god-damned bad that I had to ask the teachers if I was allowed to go to the other classroom for the remainder of the duration of the party. I have to say that music has somehow gotten even worse than when I was ten, and that when I was ten it was surprisingly worse than the early '00s and late '90s music that was on the radio when I was a really little kid. |

"I can produce beats and I'm 12, though" your beats arent bad but theyre far from professional the point is i love people who think producing beats is so easy when theyve never even tried it themselves |

| The instrumental, or beat as you call it, is ridiculously simple. I could have played it when I was eight, come to think of it, looking back at my intellectual progress over the years. |

Wobull, I'm fifteen, so technically speaking, I should be the "newer crowd". And I hate the pop music of this generation (And most of that of the '90s as well).
Six, sure, I'd show you, if I didn't care at all for internet safety. As it is, the beat is literally just a string of chords - If you know how to play a piano, you'd know how to play a chord after about a month. |

if you hate the music of this generation you've only been listening to mainstream songs there's a lot of good music that's come from this generation that most people overlook because they're hating how they were born "in le wrong generation!111!!" |

Finn, as I stated in the title, I am referring specifically to pop music, not to other genre of music.
Six, someone once managed to track my IP through hacking ROBLOX. And by hacking I don't mean the phishing that other people think is hacking, I mean they literally went onto the ROBLOX database, looked at IP addresses that correlate to logging in with the username "Timpookie" and left. |

| I honestly hate pop, but I must say, the only good pop is from the 80's. They had talent then, and didn't have auto-tuned plastic singers who tell people what they want to hear. |

Pop was good in the 60s and 70s as well Raymond.

| There's lots of good music you just have to look in the right place. Sounds to me like your generalizing this generation to that music. |

| Pop music may or may not be on a decline, but either way it hasn't changed that much from when you first heard it. Really pop music has been pretty much the same level since the 80s, with the only new influence being hip-hop. You can't even call stuff older than that pop anymore, it's rock or whatever, not pop |
