| His little "antic" on the bench is inexcusable, and even if him and the trainer are friends, it is harassment, and has no place in a spot like that. |

| There's no place for it, and its pitiful that a professional athlete would do something like that in a situation where he knows people are watching. |

Except its harassment to a person at WORK in front of thousands of people? You want to tell me how that's acceptable in anyway?

| you're making a mountain out of an anthill. if the trainer files a harassment suit, then we have an issue. for the meantime however, no one cares |

| It doesn't matter if it's a joke. That isn't acceptable to do to anyone, outside of the spotlight, if THAT is your level of joking with a friend, then sure. But in a workplace environment with a trainer trying to do his job? No. |

This is harrassment and anyone who says otherwise is foolish? That's the deal. lol.
If the trainer did this to a player, there'd be a be a fight and the trainer would be fired on the spot.
If the trainer was female, Blake would already be suspended.
This isn't okay to do, in any situation, in the workplace. |

You have your opinion, I have mine. I don't believe there's a place for this and that Griffin should be fined/suspended for it.
Three distinct possibilities. 1) Blake Griffin is using his subordinate as a prop like a high school jock might do with the dorky kid. His intent is to create humor at the trainer's expense. 2) Blake Griffin has this type of relationship with the trainer. He thinks the trainer likes these types of jokes, but that's only because the trainer doesn't feel like it's his place to tell the star of the team he doesn't. 3) Blake Griffin and the trainer actually do have a good friendship and joke around as equals like this.
In case one, Blake Griffin is a bully and generally a jerk. In case two, Blake Griffin is ignorant of the power dynamic and how that affects his relationships with others. In case three, he just had poor timing and needs to realize not to do that during a nationally televised game when it opens himself up to criticism. So either he's a jerk, ignorant, or has bad timing. They are all negative, but to varying degrees. |
