Does anyone read them here?
If so, who is your favorite writer? Favorite artist?
I for one love the works of Alan Moore, don't have a favorite artist.
Favorite Alan Moore books are as followed. Batman: The Killing Joke, Fashion Beast, V For Vendetta, Watchman, From Hell, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Tomorrow's Stories, and Promethea.
I also enjoy others, but he is my favorite.
Now you go. |

| Are you talking about Marvel-esq style comics or can it be any type of comic? |

| Luckily, I found the entire Star Fox comic online and available for reading. For some reason, it's classified as manga simply because it was made in Japan but it isn't drawn in the art style that most manga is drawn in. |

The only difference between this and the original is that it's translated into English. Here's a shot of what it looks like: (imgu r link)

| Funny how most people know comics by the movies, not the comic itself. |

I like the art of Star Fox, don't know if I could get into it. Where did you find it?
"Funny how most people know comics by the movies, not the comic itself."
Yeah, a lot of comic movies don't do them justice. Some parts of Watchmen I enjoyed, the ending was just "WOW, how could they do that". The ending of V For Vendetta was BADASS, how ever I think they could have kept it the same. I wanted them to explain on the comic's ending. I get it the ending, but I would enjoy watching it.
Superhero movies are okay, but you kinda expect them to butcher them. |

The comic covers the Titania Incident. It occurs 4 years after Star Fox 64 and also explains why Falco left the Star Fox team. It's only one issue.
I found it on mangago. Just search up mangago on Google and search for Star Fox: Farewell, Beloved Falco. There's another Star Fox comic but to me, it's harsh on the eyes. |

| Apparently, the other Star Fox comic that I said was harsh on the eyes appeared in issues of Nintendo Power. |

Didn't they make that into a movie? With Sammy J.
Or was that a completely different? |

| I take back what I said earlier. The Star Fox comic that appeared in Nintendo Power is horrendous. First off, Fox's father dies in the absolute lamest way possible. Second, the corniest jokes are made in this comic. Third, Falco looks like a turkey. Fourth, it isn't even canon. |

I don't read comics. I was really into books when I was younger, and I read some "guide to getting boys to read" in my school library. I though it was the most condescending thing I have ever read, and mentioned comic books because "Boys don't like READING! Comics have PICTURES!" All boys like PICTURES!
I've had an unnatural hatred for all comics ever since.
Although I have been considering buying Spice and Wolf, since it doesn't look like a season 3 will be out anytime soon. I believe that's considered a Light novel though, not a manga. |

Eh.
I enjoy them a lot better than reading non graphic novels. I hardly ever read something unless it has picture. Right now I am reading the "Miracle of Love" by Ram Dass, great book if you are into babas and gurus.
But you know what, "a picture is worth a thousand words" therefore a comic has far more words than a novel.
The GNs I read are thought provoking, and or really funny. |
