I'm a person who has all hero kills - 22 kills.
I was going to trinity in my armored humvee and I see this moderately good survivor. He starts attacking me with his Makarov, but I avoided all and I calmed him down.
I gave him two beans, two drinks, two blood bags and my gun.
He thanks me and we move on.
Later on he's become extremely op. He's at 12 player kills, and I happen to run into him at outpost. He recognizes me immediately and gives me a gun, 5 drums along with it and attachments.
Being a hero has some good outcomes to it.

It's nice, but EXTREMELY risky. Bandits should be scared of heros, they can be just as stacked, if not even more than them.

That is true, I always take my risks. I've done this to several people, and all almost never attacked me.

To be honest, I am a bandit. If I see somebody I will hunt them down and kill them. But if I see a noob with a makarov I'll leave them alone, unless they start shooting me with because if your not paying attention, that makarov can kill you. But I'll consider becoming a hero. I'll just have to be more careful.

Yeah, you're right. Usually if I'm walking and I see a really geared bandit, I pretend I don't notice him and he starts following me. That's when I attack. It's considered a bandit kill, but as for myself I consider it a hero in some ways.

I mean it is a hero kill I guess. The point of a hero is to protect the innocent from bandits, and to not kill innocent. I think I will become a hero and try that strategy. There's so much to talk about APOC, it's really fun.

How do you deal with bandits who are driving in cars? I combat log but are there any other ways?

You get to cover until the bandit jumps out of the car? I've never experienced it. I always log. I hate it when it's a group of two and they both have a car, and they go different sides to kill me. I'm never safe at that situation.

@Dan
Try not to be seen, and blow out their tires. Usually, bandits like to stick in 2-3 people groups. Take 1 out silently, and then if they hear you try to kill em' quick. Try to be strategic.

@Pagani, What if the car has reinforced wheels? Should I spray at the tire or no?

I combat log so much. At times, it's better to just log and POSSIBLY lose your things, then just to lose them FOR SURE by dying. I usually run away and stop, and then leave the so game doesn't count it as a log.

@dan, you wait for one to get away from the car and let him get close to you, act like a noob too. Then when hes close spray him, the next one might come to his body so do the same

I haven't played APOC that much since winter games. I don't know all the updates yet, so I'm not sure about those reinforced wheels. If they are breakable, yeah, shoot em'. But be careful with your ammo. Use a pistol or something that's not as good as your primary.

Get a Uzi or any good secondary weapons.

Dan is right. An Uzi is a good choice as a secondary. But if you go pistol mode, a good one would be the G18 because it's an automatic.
