| Just wondering if anyone has or knows an API that can get someone's account age. (when they're not in game ofc) |

I said API that can get the age when they're NOT ingame.
This is the kind of thing I mean (this gets the player's ID from the player when they're not ingame):
With that, I can use HTTP service to get the table displayed on the page. I need something like this to get a player's account age. |

| Oh well, is there somewhere on a player's profile where it states the join date? |

| On a player's place there is, but I'd have to check if they have a place first of all, then wave through all that other crap on their place page to find the date, then calculate how old their account is in days from the date... and I'd just like to simply have the player's date returned on the page. I'm sure there's an API out there for this somewhere. |

| It's easy to find it if there was a join date somewhere. The first place also might be a new one and the real first made inactive so...nope :/ |

Afaik, there's no direct API to get an account age. HOWEVER, you can use this API:
http://www.roblox.com/Contests/Handlers/Showcases.ashx?userId=261
to get a list of places created by the user. Every user should have at least one place, so just send a request to the place and get the account age. |

I mean if you check a player's place page, it says this:
-- Builder: Fedorakid Joined: 7/17/2010 --
And it'd be quite hard to wave through all the crap to find "Joined:" and then sub it from (9,#string)...
So that's why I want an API for this. |

@eLunate
Took a look at that link, and this seems like it might return an account age:
-- GET /users/{userId} Retrieves user information for the specified user ID. --
But where's the baselink for it? I don't understand how I'm meant to retrieve the information ._. |

You can easily get the join date using RegEx (or string pattern):
In Lua: (resp is the response of the place's page)
local join_data = resp:match('class="stat">(.-)') |

| Yeah, I'd probably use string.find for that, but I just really don't want to mess about trying to get a piece of text off a page, getting error after error, when there's most likely an API that works :P |

| I have a Fujitsu PenCentra 200, and for those of you who don't know what that is, it is a VERY powerful tablet. Possibly even better than eLunate's. |

Oh, and I actually had several PenCentra tablet PCs. They all had Windows CE, and an RJ45 port to connect to the internet. They also had IR so they can transfer data between themselves. They also had two PS2 ports so you could use a keyboard and mouse. They also had two USB plugs, but I couldn't find anything to work with them. They also had a couple of PCMCIA card slots, and one of them had a microphone. >:) |
