I'll name a few:
Taking shelter in a religious building.
Firing at innocent civilians.
Blowing up civilian properties.
Torturing with a chemical weapon.
Using chemical weapons
Killing surrendered soldiers
Blowing up religious buildings
There are plenty more.
I decided to look up online if CoD was supposed to be a military simulator and the results said yes for the first game was for Steven Spielberg because he wanted a realistic WW2 game to play. Might I also add American Red Cross wanted CoD to be banned since it broke a lot of war crimes.

" Taking shelter in a religious building Firing at innocent civilians.>Except on No Russian, you fail for killing civilians
Blowing up civilian properties.>That never stopped a few drone strikes, did it?
Torturing with a chemical weapon.>Considering that guy, had just helped to launch a ton of attacks, especially on the SAS, which made Prince -slightly- angry, I think it's safe to say he had it coming.
Using chemical weapons>Aside from Black Ops multiplayer, you never actually get to use it. And when you do, it's terrible. So ye.
Killing surrendered soldiers>If your talking about World at War, the Eastern front was brutal. Both sides regularly massacred prisoners.
Blowing up religious buildings>Actaully, they're protected. In MW1, if you try to hit the church in "Death from aove", you autofail.

"Taking shelter in a religious building."
Where?
"Firing at innocent civilians."
I concede this point.
"Blowing up civilian properties."
This is a certainty in any form of urban warfare, and there aren't really any situations where it isn't justified, according to the Geneva Conventions, that I can think of.
"Torturing with a chemical weapon."
Point.
"Using chemical weapons"
Except you don't get to use these anywhere else but BlOps' multiplayer. And that's nowhere near the lethality of actual chemical weapons, and more like a tear gas that can be lethal if overdosed rather than the nerve gas it's portrayed as. So, ye.
"Killing surrendered soldiers"
And this is historically accurate, given the brutality of the Eastern Front.
"Blowing up religious buildings"
Where? |

Firing at innocent civilians. - When?
Blowing up civilian properties. - ROE states "Hostile fire may be returned effectively and promptly to stop a hostile attack." Exempt due to the fact it had enemies inside
Torturing with a chemical weapon. - Lolk
Using chemical weapons - lolk x2
Killing surrendered soldiers - When? x2
Blowing up religious buildings - Again the mosque was an exempt because it housed hostile troops |

Taking shelter in a religious building. - You pass through the church...
Firing at innocent civilians. - When? No Russian mission
Blowing up civilian properties. - ROE states "Hostile fire may be returned effectively and promptly to stop a hostile attack." Exempt due to the fact it had enemies inside When you are in the chopper and you have the option to fire at buildings where no soldiers are and you have no penalty.
Torturing with a chemical weapon. - Lolk May I say interrogating when they are asking where their friend was.
Using chemical weapons - lolk x2 Banned since WW1
Killing surrendered soldiers - When? x2 In Mw2 when you find that soldier that is in the chemical gas without a gas mask.
Blowing up religious buildings - Again the mosque was an exempt because it housed hostile troops No side is aloud to take shelter in a religious building. |

Exempt due to the fact it had enemies inside When you are in the chopper and you have the option to fire at buildings where no soldiers are and you have no penalty. >In of your own accord, the buildings where full of russian paratroopers, firing small arms and RPGs at you. There's a huge SAM battery, on the roof of a building.
Torturing with a chemical weapon. - Lolk May I say interrogating when they are asking where their friend was. >
Using chemical weapons - lolk x2 Banned since WW1> You don't use them through, except in mulitplayer. And that's more like tear gas.

Not just Chernobyl, but the mission after that, "Heat" I think, you use a church for cover to fend off the Ultranationalists in Azerbaijan and the bell tower gets hit by a missile. |

Typo there. Meant to say Price.
Oops.
Also, CoD's an arcade shooter. It's realistic, to a point.

| The older ones were fun, but I wouldn't say realistic. You can pick up a medpack after being shot by an MG42, and be fine. |
