Remember back in 2013 we saw the preview for articulated physics? I think Roblox should try and bring it to the website, it would help out SO much with SO many things! I mean we know the guy who was working on it quit, but that doesn't mean that the idea should be cancelled all together! It would be a MAJOR overhaul for Roblox.
Just an idea.

Articulated physics is basically a physics thing that would allow players to be able to stand on moving objects without and lag or falling off, for instance you would be able to stand on an airplane that is moving rather then just clipping out of the aircraft.
It would also introduce a couple new hinges so you could make all sorts of machinery and wheels on vehicles would naturally turn without a script. Also would allow parts that aren't attached to a object to be able ti stay inside of it while it moves without and glitches.

"without lag" >they can't help the lag, only a good cpu can.
It doesn't matter if they add articulated physics or not.

frequently what happens is that the plane would move forward, and then your character would take longer to refresh and you would move back a few studs (this happens in Minecraft, as well.)
Perhaps ROBLOX is thinking of maybe anchoring people to moving objects in order to keep them in place, even if they do lag? |

@caleb
While that would help the lag, it wouldn't stop it. A bad computer still would have enormous lag.

@foreb
It would have lag, but at least the player won't fall off.
Or perhaps they're going to change the velocities on moving objects. I know that a trampoline on ROBLOX works by having a high velocity going up in the Y direction, so maybe they will eliminate velocity on moving bricks? Who knows ._.
I don't even know if it's called velocity, actually. There's some property in bricks that you can manipulate to make an object move in a certain direction. Conveyor belts in ROBLOX also use it |
