Two mothers have sons that have cancer.
The first mother sits at home all week praying to god to cure her son. She goes to church to pray, she performs rituals of healing, she reads from the bible or quran, (or whatever religion you want to apply), but every day her son gets even sicker and sicker because the cancer is spreading. Sadly, he ends up passing away in her arms.
The second mother, whose son also has cancer, is a bit more logical. She takes him to the hospital, has the cancer diagnosed and she works out a plan with her insurance that will cover her son's treatment. It is a grueling process, but through chemotherapy her son's cancer is eventually eliminated.
The two mothers meet and share their stories. But the first mother says "You did not cure your son's cancer the right way! You actually have to work for it!"
Now tell me, which of the two mothers is the idiot? The one who hoped for a blessing from god, or the one who used god's resources to guarantee the best recovery possible? And do you see the analogy I'm making here?

| To be honest, I'm not a religious person but. If nature decides to give both sons cancer then you should let it ethier cure itself or don't do anything. |
