ISIS is not Islam At all Judge Islam by the Quran not the self proclaiming terrorists called ISIS These are people claiming to be something they aren't and something they aren't from Compare those characteristics with the ones mentioned in the Quran A scammed calls himself legit ,does that make him a legitimate person?
You tell me that |

I agree with you completely, Baheeg. Although, if they believe that they are muslims and are doing what they do for their religion, it's still bad because they're drawing inspiration for awful things from something holy.

| Nah its all an inside job m8. The world isn't so simple. France was just about to vote on acknowledging the fact that Palestine is a Country. Couple of days before the vote. An terrorist group attacks some cartoonist. Of all the times they couldve attacked they attack now? Wasnt even the first time a cartoon about the Prophet of Islam was made. |

So you're saying that Islamic extremists only did that because France was recognizing Palestine as a country? As in these terrorists are anti-Palestine?

Honestly it's not right what they did But at the same time, mockery posed into other religions is something politically flammable and shouldn't be executed
With all due respect, both ISIS and the cartoonists deserve judgement and action taken |

Not sure about the freedom of speech and press rules in France, but In The US we are promised freedom of press. I wonder how then how the Muslim community would've reacted if it happened here.

I agree that religion shouldn't be mocked, and I know that there is a difference. I was just thinking of it more as you cannot get persecuted for something you say. That being said, I wonder how people would have reacted if it happened here.
