[I'm probably late for saying this, but I don't care; I'm just getting my thoughts out there.]
Young audiences just seem to not care whether if we put a HUUUGE amount effort into our games. They just seem to be attracted to their liking of our games; like the sounds, design, gun classes, concept, ect.
Maybe, perhaps, horrible games too. (AKA: Different Town Of Robloxia)
They don't care of how much of your coding is good and all the other junk; they just care if they're having fun or not. My personal favorite games are: Reason 2 Die, Deathrun 3 (whenever it's coming out), Deathrun 2, and LOTS of building showcases which I LOVE to look at.
Anyhow, I feel like young kids must be watched by their parents; they seem to learn to say a lot of negative thing players say on this site. And I don't think they'll be doing those negative thing when they're parents are right behind them.
So, theres my thoughts. Feel free to comment as you please.

Have you ever played Team Fortress 2 and judged solely it's coding and design? I know for sure I don't. It's about the fun factor, and if it's not entertaining people will not play it. ROBLOX is a gaming platform and if the coding is great but the game sucks, younger minds will not like it.
Also, ROBLOX's terms actually say parental guidance is strongly suggested to anyone under 13, and anyone under 13 should not use the forums or chat, and lying about your age is against the terms.
So, that's my thoughts.- |

| This is why bad games get to the front page, heck, when I was a noob I played them. |

| @coolkid437; your correct, but I don't think parents have time to deal with their kids playing this platform. |

@des
Well then that's the parent, if they choose not to monitor their child then that's on their part. ROBLOX tries their best to moderate so children do not get scarred for life, however some people out there think it's funny to abuse the system.
However, most people go to the front page and that is where the litter of mindless games are, so that's where everyone goes. |

Your a very smart person.
I just wish Roblox could "up" their security a bit.
I mean; they're updates are good, but they're just adding details to the site and not tweaking the security in this platform. |

I'm 13 now, and I started playing back in 2010. I actually dislike a lot of the front page games. While there are a lot of kids making these games popular and hurting Roblox, teens are hurting Roblox just as much. I mean, back in elementary school no one cussed, but now everyone does. Where is the logic in assuming it is the kids that are the main reason the community is bad? I think we're just blaming it on kids because we want to hide.
Also, I'd prefer a game that's my style over a game that has lots of hard work put into it. |
