DarkImperiator, you complained that adding a single item to a database and drop down menu would cost money, yet this idea would cost them thousands a day. Please get your stuff together.
"And who cares if a few non-paying members get 1 robux? It's perfectly reasonable, especially if they're veterans." >"If we extrapolate from that and say just 500,000 (half a million) users are active veterans then that means Roblox is giving away $1250 each day by giving them 1 Robuck a day." |

@Tec
I didn't think about the math, however those ROBUX can't be used by each user unless each user comes together.

| EpiclyEpicPwner, yes, but with more R$ out there, they will accumulate to content creators faster, upping the rate at which it comes out. It's true users will lock down small amounts, but the chances are they eventually spend their R$, and the economy keep moving, and those R$ eventually find their way back out of the system. The more supply, the less it's worth, but the Real world value it's backed by doesn't change. |

DarkImperiator, it's super simple economics.
The more currency you put into a system, the less that currency is worth. BUT the difference here is Robux are backed with a real world value. There is an exchange rate. When you put more Robux into the system, more Robux get cashed out because they are more ubundent and worth less in the Roblox economy. It makes the trade-out values more favorable. That costs Roblox money.
For the economy to remain stable, with 500,000 users getting a single R$ a day, Roblox would need $1,250 of Robux cashout, every day. This will infact spike cash outs, because there are more R$ in circulation TO cash out. |

But yet you support an idea to add another option that doesn't benefit ROBLOX

I support an idea that has almost no cost to Roblox, increases accuracy of demographic data, supports inclusiveness, and is a professional choice to make.
That also has nothing to do with this thread and idea, which would cost Roblox money, cause economy shifts, and most probably result in inflation. |

Guys. Tec is right. ROBUX are purchasable with real life money and tradable for it. This will cause inflation.

Forum,
Easily Abusable.
For example, someone could start logging in and logging out or used a program (bot) to do it for him.
Poorly thought out idea. And think about the CONS.

| Perhaps instead, ROBLOX should run on a fixed-rate economy where 10 Tix is equal to 1 Bux. |

Tec has a point.
This would pretty much crash the economy. It would further inflate ROBUX/TIX value.
In this situation, Cons are overriding pros.
