| Wouldn't fit the pace of CoD. I imagine spraying would be difficult and sniping wasn't much of a thing at that time |

meh
it's an interesting concept and I'd like to see it, but my problems with it are:
-weapon variety (you get a few revolvers and models of rifles, each with very small functional differences from the others) -muskets being absolutely worthless if not used as they were IRL, in 100+ man several rows deep firing lines, since even a skilled musketeer can, at best, fire 2-3 rounds per minute (thus making breech-loading rifles like the Henry and the Spencer far more desirable simply for volume of fire) -the fact that formations and tactics were a crucial part of warfare back then, which does not mesh with CoD's "Teams of Lone Wolves" phenomenon
it's a nice idea, but just not a CoD game |

search would literally be destroyed
the only game modes that would even be playable are dom and ctf even ctf you would have to run across a huge open field rather than taking routes through buildings and such |

"i mainly only play call of duty games for the story modes"
yeah, me too
but apparently other people mainly buy it for the multiplayer
but yeah, it could be a cool game, just not a cod game |

| I gotta agree with Lord here. COD gameplay is the exact opposite of what the Civil War was like. |

Actually, some units got 4 rounds a minuite. But, that was mostly due to cheating. Butye.
Rifles were harder to load than muskets, which gave them a slower rate of fire. T'is why most armys kept on using smooth-bore muskets for quite a while, as they preferred sheer weight of firepower, to accuracy.
I wouldn't mind a game as a Light Infantryman in the Napoleonic wars. I have no clue how it'd work, but I'd like one. Preferably as a Rifleman/Green jacket. |

"yes, im sure using a slow ass musket would really make a fun game" muskets didnt take a long time to load only about 10 seconds if the rifleman was skilled enough

@Call T'was more like 20 seconds, for the best. It's more the accuracy of it.

| A really long time ago I played a civil war fps. It was awesome I think it was just called civil war but dont hold me out on it. I really liked it and it included clearing out cannons and slowly walking through buildings hoping not to get your head blown off. And the weapons had bayonets on them that had little stabbing animations. I liked it a lot. Maybe you guys can find out what game that was. The beginning started out with a man wearing blue telling you there wasn`t going to be a christmas for us. |

also this is how the combat will work out if you're at one end of an open field and the enemy is on the other bait the guy into shooting his gun then bayonet charge also it will probably have an improved hand to hand combat sort of like in battlefield 4 with counters |
