Hi, First, Sorry if I'm being a noob. I am trying to build in studio with my character aka in test mode. But when I stop the test it all goes away. :( How can I build with my character without it doing that? Thanks, KK6AXQ |

You need to open the saved place from wherever you saved it.

You can try another method and upload the game to ROBLOX instead of your computer.
1. Click "FILE" in the top left corner. 2. Click "Publish to ROBLOX as... 3. Choose the place that you want it to be published to. |

What I do is
Go on Roblox Studio
Click the place you want (do not click 'Build' on develop mode, you need to go to the place page)
Then click Build

| I think that you might be clicking stop before you save |

Like punisher said, go into build mode, not edit mode. It will be like play mode, but it the actual play button will be grey and you will see your character it will also save. You can save by going to File > Publish to ROBLOX or Publish to ROBLOX as (Your Game) or simply pressing the red 'X' button. |

Use this plugin: http://www.roblox.com/Import-from-Building-Tools-by-F3X-item?id=142485815
The very bestest of the bestest plugin out there, and you can use it without having your character in game.. |

What I would do is test it via F6 in a new window, build something, then copy/paste object to original non-character game file.
if you are doing this to be proportionate to a character, you can test, reset, and change, or use a character model and drag it to compare sizes with objects you make.
That's about it for the best ways to compare with a character. You really want to use Edit Mode, not Build Mode, as you get to move the camera in angles not possible in Build Mode, making building easier. |
