Currant physics: If I stand on say a tank, and the tanks starts to move, I fall off the tank. This is incredibly annoying if you're trying to shoot video or even just playing a game. This occurs with any moving object which is on another moving object.
Solution: New weld types and auto-weld it This weld will break under literally any chances to it's environment, and it's objects it's wielding. Including if the size of and object changes. If anything hits either objects, the weld breaks. Only a humanoid can otherwise break the weld by walking (If he is welded to something). Now, how will this fix being shacked around on a moving object? This part, obviously has to be scripted by us, the community. But if we apply an auto weld to our feet to activate after say 0.5 seconds of being stationary, then we will be able to stand still on a moving object.
Currant physics: If I am on moving object and jump, I move backwards in relation to the bit I was moving on
Solution: Momentum If I player is moving at X speed, it while take him 0.5 seconds to slow by 1/10 of the speed he is travelling at if he is travelling at 16 walk speed (Not sure what this is in studs per second). So if I was travelling at 1000 studs per second (doubt it, but as this speed would lag BAD), by jumping I'd move backwards 300 studs, in relation to the object, but if standard roblox physics is applied, I'd be behind it by 3000 studs. This is the only lag free solution I can think of.
This is pretty much a Tl;Dr with examples... Skim over it.
Thanks for reading! |

It's not easy, but still scriptable.
For now, partial support.

| Scripting the first one isn't possible, but the second one is, I agree, but it'll cause lag. |

Thank you, I am well aware I spelt it wrong. I could find more, but I don't care. Any thoughts on the post you analysed?

@Guest Creating a new basic object isn't scriptable, and in the way I've suggested, it'd be scriptable yes, but just scripting it, which as an amateur scripting I know something like this would be very difficult, the second one less so than the first. But with the first one, it has so many potential uses, literally, limitless. And while those 1000s of uses may all be scriptable, but only with varying degrees of success.

| I know this is from 2014, but the first half got added in March 2015. You can also walk on moving objects now, with no problems unless the object is moving over around 5k studs per second (I've done some tests with it). Jumping isn't included in the system yet, so support for the second half. |
