| This is most likely because when you made the animation, you set its priority too low. You need to set it to "Action" in the animation editor. Otherwise the tool-holding animation might be overriding it. If this is not the case then it is a scripting error and I'll need to see your code. |

| You make it go back to the starting pose by stopping the animation and playing it again. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the starting pose. If you want it to be looped then you have to enable the looped option in the animation editor. |

| Or you simply make the end of the animation that same as the start. Thats how I do it. |
