Overview
The blistering sun cast down severe heat, making the untamed West all-the-more deadly and desolate. Out in the middle of nowhere in Arkansas, probably the heart of the Western frontier, a small town by the name of Hardwick lay. Hardwick was a rather small town, it's population ranging every week since it was often used as a rest stop more than anything. There were three bars, a Sheriff's department which was shoddy and worn-down, a railroad track where anyone could purchase tickets for a quick ride further west, and a few inns that dotted the one-street, old-styled, Western town.
The town was rarely quiet and today was no acception, for four members who were dressed as casual rough-riders waited at the railroad track, waiting for a train to come by and stop at noon, as it did every day. They were all quiet, every one of them spread out as if they had no relation to one another, yet they did, and their sinister plan was about to be set into action. The train arrived, and with it a few souls got off. Later they'd realize that it was a Godsend that they had exited the train when they did, because once those four men got on the train and it began rowing itself down that rusted track to a town many miles away, all hell broke lose.
One of the men got on where the conductor was, taking a Colt New Army from his holster, shoving it up against the conductor's neck while his hand slid over man's mouth. "We're all on... Call for the the train to leave if your value your life," the particularly grim-looking male said, his face tanned to a leather-tint from the relentless Arkansas sun that beat down above them. The conductor gulped, afraid of what could happen next and which decision he should decide upon. Once the hand was removed from the conductor's mouth, he had made up his mind out of pure fright. "All boarded. Get the train moving!" he called out loudly, the train promptly beginning to ebb its way across the tracks until it gained speed, going around 20 km/h. The hijacker then grinned at the conductor who was still ensnared by his worn hands, grinning as he delivered his one-liner.
"Looks like you missed your train..." he said slickly, thinking quite fondly of his joke before pushing the man off the train, watching him tumble in the dirt before entering the train himself where his accomplices were already taking control of the situation...
That's what they thought. However, unbeknownst to them, they were about to meet heavy resistance by the civilians who were still riding the cart, for they knew that they were all going to bite the dust if they didn't fight like a bull, and maybe they were going to bite it either way.
(This is essentially a train hijacking where the citizens need to overpower the hijackers using logic and by working together.)
---------------------------------- Rules!
1. Generic rules apply. (No godmodding, follow standard ROBLOX rules, no Mary-Sues, my word is law, etc..)
2. This roleplay is determined by dice roles (d20) and logic! I will be your GM!
3. Work together! This is key!
4. Based on your CS, I may give you buffs or debuffs, so BE DETAILED IF YOU WANT AN ADVANTAGE!
5. Please delete the ()'s and the words within them on the CS.
---------------------------------- CS Format!
Name:
Gender: (Yes, you may be a female, Pick.)
Age:
Appearance: (Includes clothing which doesn't have to be detailed.)
Previous Occupation:
Items Possessed: (No guns unless I rule that your character can have one, which is unlikely. Think generic items like booze, canteens, knives, etc..) ---------------------------------- TRAIN LAYOUT!
II Caboose ll >< II Cargo Cart II >< II Passenger Cart II >< ll Passenger Cart II >< II Employee Cart II >< II Steam Locomotive II
Caboose - The caboose is an alternate place for passengers to reside. A conductor usually waits at the very back on the small balcony.
Cargo Cart - This cart is filled with many items that are being transported to small towns out in the west. Most of the crates probably contain booze.
Passenger Carts - Where most of the citizens will be located. These carts have an emergency hatch located on the roof for speedy evacuation. They also have windows that can be opened. A thin person could fit through the window.
Employee Cart - This cart is off-limits to the citizens. Many useful items could be potentially found here.
Steam Locomotive - The very front of the train. The train operator is located her. This place is off-limits to the citizens.
---------------- PS -
I will decide where you character starts. |

Do you realize how slow 20 km/h is, though? Super slow for trains of the era. |

@uvsk
I don't appreciate the spam and I'll have you know that the train was just getting going. Besides, it wouldn't make sense for the hijacker to be holding on to that conductor for a century before the train got going to around 40-50 MPH.
Seriously, stop posting if you're not going to join. |
