I've looked everywhere, wiki, youtube, other models to study, nothing.
I've been trying to find a way to make the player's torso rotate to the position of the mouse to give a realistic feel of first person.
I'm not requesting a script, just some basic help on it. |

" I've been trying to find a way to make the player's torso rotate to the position of the mouse to give a realistic feel of first person."
... the torso moves with the mouse side to side while in first person |

No, I mean rotation as in if you look down, your torso rotates down. |

lol. Bids on Binding of Isaac Creation - jashwa vs SenseiWarrior?
I got 100 r$ on Sensei.
But @OP
local mouse = game.Players.LocalPlayer:GetMouse() local reference = game.Players.LocalPlayer.Character.Torso
while wait() do reference.CFrame = CFrame.new(reference.CFrame.p,mouse.Hit.p); end
(Lol dis gonna be extremely buggy.. I suggest using BodyGyro or something) |

Sweet, ty so much for the script. I've been trying to get this to work for the past 3-4 hours. How would I make the legs stay on the baseplate instead of following with the torso?
I rewelded a ton of things, still not working. :P |

Your whole body rotates but your feet stays on the ground. Basically, your torso rotates around your feet.
Billy, you better watch out, my upcoming survival games is gonna eat yours >:x
Well dont I got projects |

| Ah, yes. This is very easy. All you do is add a weld or Motor6D to your RootJoint (game.Players.localPlayer.Character['HumanoidRootPart']['RootJoint']), and rotate it about 5 radians (of course, tween it so it gives it that 'realistic' look). |

| Actually, if you're planning on creating super advanced custom realistic animations, I prefer studying over the math library well, you'll need it. Also, create custom joints (like elbows, knees). It may take some time yes, but it's worth it in the end |
