This fix only works if it constantly says the following: "ROBLOX is updating..."
There are two simple ways to fix this:
Way 1: Restart/Shutdown your PC, then login to your PC.
Way 2: Open Task Manager Delete any ROBLOX processes Go to your recycle bin Empty your recycle bin.
Then it should be fixed.
Sorry if this may sound stupid. This use to work for me.

when press delete on something in task manager it kills the task you arent actually deleting anything. there is no need to empty your trash bin |

You need to delete any extra ROBLOX files you have, because if you open RobloxPlayerLauncher(1), that means you have more then RobloxPlayerLauncher.

| you're closing out of programs by doing that, not deleting them |

If you open RobloxPlayerBeta.exe, its gonna open all of them in your system. Which can even be 10. And almost most of them will be outdated, therefor causing the loop.
