why not when it's hot if it's cold you can bundle up in clothes to keep you warm when it's hot you're stuck in the heat
i cant tell you how many issues people have at school in the 115F heat. people pass out all the time and every air conditioner breaks

Unfortunately my state has the most unpredictable weather. One week we have subzero temperatures, the next week it's 40°F outside.
One summer when I was 13 we had a derecho that knocked power out in the entire state and I think it killed a few people. And yet, I still ran outside barefoot because it's 100°F inside the house and the power is out so there's no air conditioning. I was talking to my friend after it and she said her mom made her and her sister stay in the central bathroom in their house until the storm was over. She thought I was insane for going outside during the storm.

The hottest it's been in Canada (that I've experienced) is +32 Celsius, which is about 89.6 Fahrenheit, Google says. The coldest it's been in Canada (that I've experienced) is -50 Celsius with the wind chill, which means it would be -58 Fahrenheit. |

| At my school it's different, it happened that school got cancelled because it was too warm, but it never happened that school got cancelled when it was too cold but the parents could decide when it was too cold, because of danger like ice on the ground (It's really dangerous, trust me). |

It's because cold weathers cause traffic problems and if we're gonna have a line of 20 cars on a blanket of ice with snow surrounding us, that's just not right. And last time I figured, hot weather doesn't make ice on the roads. |
