I have tried this before, and am not entirely sure how to fix this correctly. I want to edit a weapons script. (Example: Lugar Pistol) and change it so that it does damage to a Humanoid with the name "Zombie".

EDIT: I am aware that you need to change the Humanoid name inside the script, I do not know in which places, however.

script.Parent.Touched:connect(function(t) if t.Name == "NameOfBullet" then script.Parent.Humanoid:TakeDamage(20) end end)
put that in every zombie, if you want a headshot, put another script in the head

You go in the main gunscript and change all the humanoids that get damaged to "Zombie"

@Blade I am aware of this. As stated above I do not know where. As of this post I am still testing a script.

@025 The script you gave me could be useful, however most guns that I have seen so far randomly spawn a Part, in which it would take a long time for me to re-name every brick inside my game.

Randomly spawn a bullet right?
find where it says "Instance.new" and add a local bullet = before it
then, do bullet.Name = "NameOfBullet"
