Department of Justice Press Release;
We are currently undergoing heavy reformation, it will take a while to be done, but we are moving a good speed and not slowing down, nor do we have any plans to slow down. In the past three days, we have established a stable leadership team within the Metropolitan Police Department, that of which involves three highly respected, experienced individuals who not only have a skill for leadership, but have the passion of community service. needless to say, we are very glad they are on board. In addition to MPD reforms, we have successfully established a Training Academy which all trainees must complete before becoming an officer of District of Columbia's Finest. This academy was installed to make sure the trainees that go into the program come out as true officers ready to serve and enforce the law. The Academy training structure will involve a lot of hands on exercises, drills and classroom instruction. More details on that structure will be released shortly by the Department. The Academy is also still seeking a Director.
On a legal front, the Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, Solicitor General, United States Attorney and the Two Assistant United States Attorneys will be formally meeting soon to once again install Due Process and establish a platform for which we will abide by for Prosecution of Criminals, Challenging of Laws, Legal Counsel for departments and administration officials. The Department plans to install a Public Defense Attorney slot in it’s Department to ensure all citizens of the United States have access to an Attorney. We plan on reaching out to the rest of the United States through representing interests of all types in the Court Room.
In conclusion to this statement and to sum it up, Justice Department reforms are off to a quick start and we will all at the Department continue to work hard to meet the needs for Law Enforcement and the highly demanded Due Process.
