In order to use the trade feature, you need ordinary BC or higher.
Most traders in general, from what I can see from LMaD and Merely's game, use ordinary BC.
To use DevEx, you must have OBC, which most of them evidently don't have. DevEx involves exchanging robux for actual money.
LMaDers rarely sell their items.
Rarely do LMaDers ever hold the same amount of robux as their items are worth, and regardless, most of them can't even use DevEx.
But lets just say, they do have OBC. They pay for it monthly, or bought Lifetime. Monthly they'd have to spend 239USD a yearly for their membership. Lifetime is one payment, so I presume, which not many people have in general, it costs 349USD.
Lets say a LMaDer which has monthly OBC (plenty of people do), has an item worth 100,000 robux, and they sold it. That's 250USD. Taking away their yearly fee, that's 11USD gained, which will probably -go back into their OBC-.
That's on the assumption that they aren't constantly trading items and are instead selling their items, which we know they aren't, otherwise trading wouldn't be a thing.
This is also on the assumption that they are paying for their membership, and not their parents. It's also on the assumption that their parents are sane people who would take their children's earnings to pay for their children's crap.
But lets just move on to a LMaDer with lifetime OBC. If they sold that 100,000 robux item, they have 250USD, provided that they don't owe any money to the people that bought it (which someone else probably has bought it). Lets be fair, if they were truly old enough to have bought that lifetime OBC, I doubt that 250USD would last an extremely long time, and I doubt they'd have much of it anyway.
Then we go to the start of the thread. LMaDers:
-mostly can't access the DevEx feature -rarely sell items for robux
So, with a straight face, can LMaDers say they are making money off of Roblox?
If they -are- making money, I doubt it's a meaningful amount.
If anything, they are losing money, just like us. Just take into account BC/Roblox cards, and Robux bought.
I could also go on to talk about items worth 1000USD+, but LMaDers never sell them anyway, as time tells us. |

well lets say they make 100k in a month easily possible
like 6 dollars for bc
20 more for another month
make 250 - 26 = 224
224 dollars for playing a game a month
and most people who are smart enough will make more than that |

11x5.95= 65USD
65USD+19.95USD=85USD
250USD-85USD=165USD
165USD doesn't make it far in the world. |

| Eh, I've made plenty of money on LMaD. You just need to learn to let go of the virtual and hold onto the real. |

yeah most people don't realize "DevEx" is for the "DEVelopers"
they don't just toss out real money to people who do nothing useful for the game
if you develop good games that contribute to roblox, or develop anything useful really, roblox has a reason to feed you cash - you're earning them much more than they are giving you |

If you don't pay taxes then I doubt you're going to be old enough to ever make any use of that money except fuel it into games or Roblox.
Or, hey, maybe a new phone or headset.
Your parents will probably snatch the money anyway, which they are entitled to after dishing out 85USD a year+any other expenses on you. |

Taxes are only applied on higher amounts as per federal law
Something around $500 or so. |

| Yeah, sure, maybe an LMaDer will get a DevEx exchange, but you'd be surprised how many rejection stories outweigh the acceptance stories. |

Reinforcing Slayer's point here, the DevEx is again intended for developers of the game.
As Roblox made a blog post about, it's better than your average job or career if you are a successful game developer in terms of income.
When you make marginal amounts every month? Your earnings are very marginal. |

| There is also the black market for selling items off items. It's actually a booming industry, you'd be surprised the high prices people will pay for big ticket items on this game. |

| I don't like putting effort into something that most people on this site can't understand, but the entire LMaD subforum act like tards, especially when they mention "making real money". |
