This would be great for cutscenes. One good example would be a green screen. Rather than having to make the baseplate invisible and make the skybox all green, a player could layer a green ScreenGui behind all objects. Objects could quickly be layered below or above a GUI, making it easy to make videos. Another example would be cutscenes in which the main focus is your character or another object. A ScreenGui can be layered below your character but above every other object, meaning your character is the only thing visible on your screen. The GUI, of course, functions as a regular ScreenGui, which could open up new doors to game creation involving GUIs having an affect on actual objects. If you'd like, I could attempt to make an example game showcasing some potential uses.

Insert a part, and put a massive screen GUI in. In order to put it in the correct Z, Y and X axis, it'd need to function like a part, so make it one.
I don't like OT, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people that do use OT, denigrate means 'put down'. |
