The Fade: Olivius is a new RPG that I am currently working on.

This thread will inform about what it is, what's great about it, and opportunities for you!

TFO is a Medieval single player RPG. In this game, your player embarks on a journey through the continent of Olivius. Explore, quest, steal, discover on the massive continent of Olivius!

The game will have:
120+ places to explore
300+ buildings to explore
A 32,000 stud baseplate world
Massive oceans with secrets in them to explore
60 Main quests
Never ending side quests
Over 3000+ items to interact with
And secrets around every corner!

What's so great about this game?

Hours of fun, little to no lag, and the freedom to do nearly whatever you want!

If you're going to have that many places and buildings, then I'd recommend splitting up worlds/dungeons/levels into different places in a game universe. For example when you enter this pathway with a sign saying "To level 3.." it'd teleport the player to another place with the world in it.

You could either do that or if you want all players to still be able to chat to eachother in the same game; split up worlds in one place and have them VERY far away from each other. This allows the game to render 1 world at a time and not all worlds at the same time (For the player atleast). Too many bricks crammed together in a small area is the majority of what causes lag.

If both of those don't interest you, then keep the brick count for each building to a sheer minimum.

i'm interested in scripting the RPG. skill is no issue; i am fluent in RBlxLua and have a few other web langauges up my sleeve. could we chat about it sometime soon?

Currently we have two scripters... I'm not sure if we could use anymore at this time due to the difficulty having multiple people script the game since scripts may not flow together correctly or easily.
