I am kinda a nerd when it comes to dinosaurs so I apologize for the big words.
Large dinosaurs:
Ankylosaurids(1 species Rhino-sized)
Edmontosaurini(1 species cow-sized)
Triceratopsini(1 species rhino-sized)
Tyrannosaurids(1 species rhino-sized)
Small dinosaurs:
Thescelosaurid(1-2 species sheep-size)
Ornithomimosaurs(1 species ostrich sized)
Protoceratopsids(1 species pig-size)
Therizinosaurs(1 species sheep-sized)
Caenagnathids(1 species turkey-size)
Velociraptorines(2 species sheep-sized)
Pterosaurs:
Azhdarchids(2 species both as large as a glider)

Here is a edited/explained version of the dino list
Ankylosaurs and Triceratops would make for good battle mounts while Edmontosaurs could carry more cargo than a camel. Therizinosaurs could be armed one man mounts and Thescelosaurs have a little armor so they'd also do well as fast mounts. Others like Caenagnathids, Protoceratopsids, and velociraptors could be used as pets or attack/guard animals. We don't even need to called them dinosaurs. We could call them Peurotsiilosaurs since they'd be native to Peurotsiil.
Large dinosaurs:
Ankylosaurids(1 species cow-sized) A armored dinosaur with a clubbed tail, would live in Peurotsiil's forests, wetlands, and deserts
Edmontosaurini(1 species elehant-sized) A Large duck billed dinosaur and largest of Peurotsiil's herbivore dinosaurs. Lives in forests and wetlands
Triceratopsini(1 species rhino-sized) A Three horned herbivorous dinosaur with a frill. Would live in forests and wetlands
Tyrannosaurids(1 species rhino-sized) Largest of Peurotsiil's predatory dinosaurs, lives in forests and wetlands
Small dinosaurs:
Thescelosaurid(1-2 species sheep-size) Small bipedal relatives of Edmontosaurini. Would live in forests and wetlands
Protoceratopsids(1 species pig-size) Small hornless relative of Triceratopsini. Lives in deserts.
Therizinosaurs(1 species sheep-sized) Long necked, bipedal, herbivorous dinosaurs with long sword-like claws. Lives in forests, wetlands, and deserts.
Caenagnathids(1 species ostrich-size) Crested bird-like dinosaurs that are omnivores, lives in forests, wetlands, and deserts
Velociraptorines(2 species sheep-sized) Small predatory dinosaurs, lives in deserts.
Pterosaurs:
Azhdarchids(2 species both as large as a glider) Pterosaurs that look like four legged flying storks the size of giraffes. Lives in forests, wetlands, and desert.
Pteranodontines(one species Albatross-sized) Crested shorted necked relatives of the Azhdarchids. Lives in Wetlands and coast. |

I do not like this list, some of these dinosaurs have the names of real dinosaurs. Also, why do we need dinosaurs in Peurositil? Ankylosaurids Triceratopsini Tyrannosaurids Pteranodontines Velociraptorines |

No Dino's I'm all for a few minor changes in the lore, like what Athena does, but adding Dinos is just ridiculous. Gwrthey disapporves and thinks your very very silly.
Especially since they have Modern names, It's just stupid. No.. Just no. |

We are working on better names, also the populations would be small and remote in Rothasix and Urokan owned lands. We already have a mammoth(extinct animal) and a tyrannosaur-like mount and Triceratops heads decorate taverns and palaces already.
Athena even liked this idea and is even making a raptor mount, just look through her models.
Some of you asked what is the point of this and I have a answer.
They can be used for wagon pulling or battle mounts. The parts of them such as horns or teeth can be made into weapons. And they can add a interesting biological component into Jardia and other places.
True this is a war group but we also have a science, theater, and mason group. If you keep choking us with boring lore that does not draw members in then what are we to do? Should the Science division just poke zombies all day till they die and zombify of bordom? Allowing dinosaurs into the lore would make our medieval themed place unique and draw more people in. Heck this idea worked so well that it was made into books and movies, https://www.google.com/search?q=dinotopia&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 .
I've worked hard on this planning. Everyone is interested in doing something awesome but when something awesome is in front of them, they turn it away. We are more than another military group, We are awesome and we should accept that. |
