The MMO aspect and the FPS aspect are blended perfectly, it really feels like you're playing a single player game but online. The story is great; they've written it so that it works off of and blends into the gameplay so both of them seem incredibly realistic. Speaking of realism it's actually really hard science fantasy. All of this science fiction stuff stems from this one thing that enables them to do that and everything seems perfectly possible within the world it has set up. It's also superficially realistic: the graphics are insane and the aesthetic is really colorful but still manages to be incredibly serious.
10/10 game. |

I haven't looked at the grimoire in any way whatsoever
I just think the idea of the Traveler is good because it's an automatic in-story justification for all this science fiction stuff, the existence of the Ghosts makes the gameplay more realistic (having a map, being able to scan things, etc.) and overall the premise of trying to protect the world is cool. |
