[DOCUMENT IS UP-TO-DATE AS LONG AS IT IS IN THE PLACE DESC]
This is the official guide to raiding Fort Union: http://www.roblox.com/TRUA-Fort-Union-READ-DESC-place?id=85883952
The purpose of this document was to give raiders and TRUA members new to the fort, a guide. I have observed that many raiding forces and TRUA troops have not fully utilized the strategic advantages of Fort Union.
Fort Union is a FAIR FORT! Both sides are given the same challenges as the other. It is a matter of skill, teamwork, and strategy that wins the day. That was the Fort's design.
SPAWNS: TRUA/Allies: TRUA spawns deep inside a small canyon with a road that leads to the main road. Their spawns are the same distance, and most likely further, from the base then the Raiders. They spawn in a small house, the Road contains a selection of vehicles.
Raiders: The Raiders spawn in the back of the map. There is a selection of vehicles(Equal to TRUA's). The road leads all the way to the Fort.
Both Spawns are protected by gates, Absolutely NO SPAWNCAMPING is allowed. Though, it is only spawn camping if you attempt to push the other team into their spawn house and trap them there. Please do not go too far into each other's spawn areas. Spawncamping will result in a warning, and a ban if the warning is not heeded.
THE MOUNTAINS: Fort Union is a mountainous region. There are a two cave systems which lead to the Fort's flanks. They provide a safer and more stealth-like passage for Troops of both sides. Utilizing these caves could be very lucrative.
The mountains also overlook the main road, providing an ambush advantage. As well as sniping positions.
THE VILLAGE: There is a small cluster of houses known to TRUA Troops as "The Village". The village is just to the left of the road heading straight toward the fort. A good area to rendezvous your troops for an attack on the fort.
THE FORT: There are 3 ways to get inside the fort. There is the main gate, if you can open it that is. The frontal obby. to the far left of the front of the wall is an obby to get inside. The rear obby, at the left flank of the fort, right where the raider caves exit.
THE 1ST FLOOR: The main building is a 2-storied system of offices. The offices provide good cover and advantages for strategic room-to-room fighting. If the building is well-defended, teamwork and strategic entry will be absolutely imperative.
There is a large atrium room on the left side of the building. It has two small barricades. It will lead to two truss beams, climb up to a small ventilation opening. and it will take you to a room next to the flag room.
THE 2ND FLOOR: There is a stairway at the end of the 1st floor hall that leads directly to the flag room. There are two offices there which provide an ambush position.
The flag is in the center of the flag room. There are plenty of defensive advantages in the entire building. A smart strategist would set up cornershooting and ambush positions all around the building. The top of the ventilation shaft is easily defendable. The front entrance is harder to defend if not organized properly.
THINGS TO KNOW: -Corner shot is allowed but the barrel of your gun can take damage. -Pressing Q with any gun equipped will increase accuracy but lower walkspeed. -Wallshot is Strictly forbidden. -The base is absolutely fair, it has been tested time and time again. -Do not shoot while driving at the same time. -Follow the rules or you can and will be banned.
That's it for now, As Fort Union updates, so will this forum. Thanks for reading and good luck in your future raids on Fort Union!
