Hi there, thanks for reading. I really need your opinion on this.
- Is it a good idea to make a survival game? - If it's not a good idea then what genre should I do? [Ignore if you think it's a good idea.]
Thanks, just put your answer below.
Also, if you want to help me on the quest for creating a survival game, PM me. We can work something out. |

Depending on the different aspects of the game, it can be really boring, OR people could be really interested. Usually making these types of games is a hit or miss with the community. Usually this genre of gaming is overused and abused. Although you could make it work by putting some twists and specific ideas to keep people wanting to play.

| I suggest making a twist on the gameplay, theme, or genre of the survival game that nobody has seen before. Go for the unique ideas, not ones you have seen. |

| Like instead of making the theme modern, make it futuristic, a battle against terrorists, and corrupt government? |

Anything you haven't seen before would be good. New and exciting, people don't like playing the same games over and over again.

" make it futuristic, a battle against terrorists, and corrupt government?"
ROFL
terrorists and corrupt governments are not futuristic
we had those two things since advanced civilizations started

| Okay, then I could just make the terrorists and corrupt government robots/monsters/humans in mechanized suits. |
