I was thinking that Retexture Artist should start recieving a 10% commissions from their published hats instead of getting just 1000 Robux.
Retexture Artist also contribute to the community with creative hat ideas and makes ROBLOX job easier.
Game Developers and Clothing Makers all recieved special benefits such as the 10 Robux and 100 tix price floor and devex. So, I believe Retexture Artist should start recieving better benefits as well.

No, that'd be amazing for our bank accounts, but we'd be given far, far, far too much money.
You could argue that we should get more robux per hat, but if you are re-texturing hats for profit, you are in the wrong business, pal. |

10% is a lot.
3%-5% is better
This is just a better reward for suggestion for our work and also more fair reward.
For Example: Let say ROBLOX published your hat and it is 20,000 Robux limited and you can not afford it. They just give you $1000 Robux, a pat on the back, and a good job. (Which has happened to me)
And in order for ROBLOX to sell a user created retexture for that much then it must have been a pretty impressive retexture.
Besides most created retextures will go offsale after period of time since a lot of them are Holiday based or Seasonal based |

@Deafgift
I posted this on the Suggestions and Ideas forum for a reason. Suggesting a better reward system for retexture artist, who get their hats published.
Retexture artist waste a lot of time an effort on hats that they hope to get published
Everything has changed to try to give productive users more motivation to produce more quality items.

i don't support this
this would hurt the economy so much considering how quickly it builds up, especially with limiteds
if i made 10 robux for the 10000 bathyspheres, not including the new sales, i'd have 100k on the spot
meanwhile, for ghosdeeri, i would technically receive nothing
also, how would they implement this for hats already created?
this unfairly rewards retexture creators based off of unstable factors, the 1000 robux and free copy is a more equal way to pay off retexturers without inflating the economy |

| Please stop being greedy. 1000 bux is plenty enough. Not only that... You can wear a hat that YOU published. |

1000 Robux isn't enough? Even if you have been luckily invited to join a group officially owned by mods?
I'm a big fan of the Retexture Artist group, you should focus on what you have, not what you don't.
I even tried to make myself a hat for Retexture Artists, you can look at it here: http://www.roblox.com/OBC-Sparkle-Hat-Retexture-Artists-Channel-Sugg-item?id=186990391
And also, I do think 10% is also too much, 5% - 2% would be reasonable. |

I already agreed 10% was too much; 5%-2% is better. Anyways that is not our problem, they should just think carefully before they publish a limited retextured it for a ridiculous ammount.
Ghosdeeri they would obviously give you the retexture for free since it wassn't for sale.
It is simple they wouldn't. Why go through that much effort for old hats? If an artist wants the benefits they will continue to make new retextures and try to get it published
Also, we only get 1000 robux or a free copy not both. I rather look at my retexture in model with a lot of takes then look at my published retexture knowing I can never afford it and wear it.
To counter your economic issue. They can have two commission options. 5% or 1% Commission options. 1% can be used for overstocked limiteds or very expensive ones. 5% can be used for non-limiteds. If your retexture is very good, you will see the result by the sales of that non-limited item. If the community does not like the retexture, you will not recieve a lot of commission from the hat.
