So I keep trying to set my character to a morph, but whenever I do this it reloads after five seconds even with characterautoloads set to false. If I join a server with CAL disabled, it doesn't load me then, but if I change my Player's character property is resets. Does anyone know why it might not be working and whether there is a way to work around it?

If CharacterAutoLoads is set to false then the game won't automatically spawn the player, _ever_. This includes when they join.
To fix this, you'll need to make use of PlayerAdded and call the player's `LoadPlayer` method once your PlayerAdded event fires.
You should also consider what happens when their character dies, as with CharacterAutoLoads set to false they won't respawn. |

Ah thanks, the playeradded problem is now fixed. My other problem is, whenever I change the player's character it respawns again and the gui reloads.

StarterGui has this nice property named "ResetPlayerGuiOnSpawn" (or was it Respawn? it's a long property name, check the wiki if that property name doesn't work) which defaults to true. If you set it to false _on the client_ then their PlayerGui won't reset when the player respawns.

That was the right property, unfortunately disabling it (and I made a script to check) didn't work, but thanks anyway.
